Exiting the Safari we headed over to the train to Conservation Station. I like the area but to be perfectly honest, I probably wouldn't head over there so eagerly if Pocahontas wasn't normally found there. She's my favourite!
We got there as she was disappearing so I queried when she would be back. It wasn't going to be for a while but we figured as we'd come all the way out here we might as well wait. She's one of Andy's favourites too.
While waiting we looked at some of the exhibits up there.
And then we grabbed a sandwich. It was nice but I do think they are missing out a little by not having a better food option up there.
Finally, Pocahontas came out and we were first in the line. We did get a little freaked out while waiting because there was kinda a crazy Pocahontas stalker next in line. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for enthusiastic fans...I am one...but this lady/girl was at the obsessed, genuinely believes they are 'real' bit. I know they are real but... Anyway, she spent the whole remaining wait time (twenty mins) trying to tell me all about Pocahontas and when I finally got a bit fed up and said that I'd worked on the original promotional campaign for Pocahontas (Pocahontas Animation Discovery Adventure) she completely blanked it and continued. I gave up LOL.
We were able to jump into the line for Rafikki too, without a long wait, so we met him as well.
Andy and Jenni were keen to see the Lion King show so we left Conservation Station and headed towards Camp Mickey Minnie instead. On route, Andy spotted Daisy.
We had to wait for the show to start and guess who we bumped into *LOL*.
We finally made it inside for the show, which was really good. I actually like it a lot more than I had last time...maybe because I knew what I was expecting this time.
Photo time (sorry not great - no flash)
After the show we decided to head towards 'Asia'. On route we checked the exhibits on the island and the only thing I got (besides birds) was this bottom LOL
