3 Boys and 20 Hours in a Minivan,I Must Really Love this Place!*New4/22 TR LINK

I'm hip! I'm current! I'm...well, I have a teenage boy who keeps me up-to-date on the latest funniest videos which is why I know all about Sweet Brown. :rotfl:

I hear ya...we moms of teenage boys have to stay current! ;)

I love movie nights! Everything looks so yummy from Germany night. Very impressed that you used an actual receipe from Disney:cool1:

Thanks! I've made that soup before...it is really delicious!

Looks really yummy especially the cake!!! :)

My DS asked for Wreck it Ralph for Easter. Looks cute.

It is cute! He'll enjoy it!

So tonight was Day 6 of our 10 Day celebrations and it was PIRATE NIGHT! pirate: Heading to the Bahamas, I thought it was appropriate to enjoy a little pirate culture before we leave!

I bought candy to fill a treasure chest, cool looking root beer in pirate-y looking bottles, and eye patches for everyone! We also played Pirates of the Caribbean Scene-It. I told the boys if they did not wear a bandana and an eye patch, they couldn't play! I have such good sports! :thumbsup2

Our pirate supplies!

We had so much fun! Dan won our first round, Isaiah won the second. We also watched a bit of the first Pirates movie and enjoyed "Pirate stew" for dinner....ok, just homemade beef vegetable soup, but I had to make it fit! :thumbsup2

I love this count down celebration! It makes the vacation seem even longer!! I wish I had been at your house on Germany night. Everything looked so delicious.

Great theme days!! :thumbsup2

I hope you are feeling better. Three of us have come down with colds here with 20 days to go. I'm hoping they run their course quickly (without getting worse)!

Ohmy, that Germany dinner looks soooo good! Now, I'm hungry... and I just ate breakfast. :lmao:

I guess I'm going to have to rent Wreck-It Ralph. I hadn't heard any personal reviews of that one yet and wasn't that interested. But, if a family of teens enjoyed it, it's probably right up my family's alley!

Sorry, you got sick, but thank goodness it happened two weeks before your trip and not two days before!!! :faint: Could you imagine? What a way to ruin a vacation. :headache: Glad you are feeling better! Enjoy your last few days before D-Day!!!

Good to hear that you're feeling better. You don't need to be sick when there's packing to do.

Sorry, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to post Sweet Brown.

:rotfl2: Love the remix version. (I also have my teens to thank for keeping dear old mom in the loop!) :lmao:

Pirates Night looks like fun. I love board games and it is nice to see a family that still plays them!

In case we do not hear from you before you leave have a safe drive and awesome trip:cool1: Looking forward to your TR when you get back.

Thanks everyone! I have been busy with getting ready and a side trip to PA for Easter....but I'm here! Thanks for all the compliments on our celebration nights. They really are fun!

I have a few more to post before we leave tomorrow! YAY!

I'm sorry I have been so out of touch lately. The bronchitis really knocked me for a loop and I felt the push to get everything ready! But..the bags are packed and in the van and we are ready to hit the road EARLY in the morning!

Our last celebrations were fun! On Thursday we had our Day 5 celebration....MEXICO night! I decorated with Mexican flags and we had tacos for dinner. I also made baked churros....so delicious!

On Friday, we were headed to PA to celebrate Easter with my family, but I managed to make Perry cupcakes for our Day 4 celebration. I got the idea from Pinterest and was very happy with the result! They were too cute!

On Saturday, things were crazy, so we did not get to do our Day 3 celebration. We ended up doing it on Sunday. It was BON VOYAGE day! We had umbrella drinks (smoothies) and a bon voyage party complete with popping streamers! The kids loved it!

Day 2 was Easter Sunday and the boys got trading pins and some other Easter goodies in their baskets.

Today was Day 1, and as tradition dictates, we had pizza for dinner and played Disney Scene It.

I had to laugh. I swear we used to have the exact same green flooring in our kitchen. And my walls used to be golden yellow too. If I could find a photo, I'd show you. I felt like I was looking at my own family photos. lol. :rotfl:
