I've been meaning to post since I returned, but have been too bust. Anyway a few random thoughts and observations.
SWA flights from BDL - both flights 99% full
Car rental was alamo and I did the pre-registration, used the kiosk, and was able to pick a minivan off the intermediate aisle. IT was GREAT! FWIW, there were also minivans on the compact aisle.
First night AKV - Jambo House. WHAT A SMALL ROOM!!! There were supposed to be 4 of us, me, DH, DD and BIL, but DD and DH had to delay the trip by a day. GOod thing, we would not have been able to put the air mattress for DD in the room.
Hate having to pay for valet parking, although throughout the trip, the valet people were very nice when we just wanted to run in somewhere for a few minutes or a quick drink and the 3 times we did this,they kept the car right at the front and didn't charge.
Weather was cooler than we would have liked, but I guess that's not DIsney's fault
Much more crowded at the end than at the beginning.
DH has fallen in love with the tequila flight in mexico - have to plan more $$ for discretionary spending next trip
Did the free 3 lap ride at Richard Petty for AP holders and really had a blast!
Did a Free wine tasting for DVC members at flying fish one afternoon. That was fun, too.
The last day, I bought a hamburg at The food court in America at Epcot, and there was a coupon attached for 20% off merchandise and many gift shops. Wish I had gotten that earlier.
