3/2003 revisions to Multi-Site POS

there was a document in my add-on kit that indicated DVD made some changes to the Multi-Site POS.

1) Interval Int'l exchange program agreement has a new expiration date = March 31, 2005 (old date was 2003)

2) Club Members no longer have to be closed on their purchase to be eligible to Bank and/or Borrow points.

3) Club Members must be closed on their purchase in order to transfer points.

just thought i'd post these in case anyone was interested.

Wonder why DVC didn't send out the changes to all of the existing members? Maybe they still will - I guess that March 2003 wasn't all that long ago.

I am having a problem with this now. Can you tell me what page the rule that says you do not have to be closed in order to borrow to book, My guide informed me of this but MS gave me a hard time . I would love to have the opportunity to call back with the info in writeing in hand.

sure, Felicia.
i'll just type the exact wording regarding that change (#2 that i listed above):

"Exhibit 1B - Home Resort Rules & Regulations.
The last sentence of Paragraph 4.c.1) on page 42 has been deleted"

then it shows that paragraph, and the last sentence has crossed out (strikethrough) formatting. i'll just type the last sentence:
"<strike>Only Club Members who have closed on their purchase agreement are eligible to Bank and/or Borrow.</strike>"

if it helps, the document i got was titled: "Revisions to Disney Vacation Club Multi-Site Public Offering Statement" and was dated 03/2003 in the bottom corner.

I called QA and they stated that this new rule occured in march, but the system still would not let me book a feb 2003
reservation on borrowed points from june 2004 use year, thus decreasing my 11 month booking advantage, and my add on is paid in full!!

They did set the unit aside for me due to these circumstances, but I still have to call to oficially book after closing.

Its a problem with the computer system.
