I started out my last day a sad panda. The only thing that comforted me that I was going home the next day was the promise of ENight at 7 p.m.
We woke up early for our last go-round and hit MGM one last time and stayed in the ToT, RNRC area. At about 10:30, our stomachs were a little rumbly, but the only counter service open was "Starring Rolls" and its line was too long! Should have packed a Nutrigrain bar.
Once 11:00 rolled around, we were starved and had a Vacation Kingdom voucher in hand, which said Spoodles participated. So we boated to the Swan and walked to the Boardwalk only to find out Spoodles isn't open for lunch! Dumb voucher. So now we're really starved and head to EPCOT, where we settled on Chefs de France. It was pretty good, but small portions. I had the lobster bisque, boyfriend had the onion soup, and then we split the grilled salmon. I then topped it off with the Profiterolles au Chocolat. As we walked though World Showcase, the lack of sleep started to catch up, so we headed back to CSR to rest up for ENight.
5:00 and off to MK for ENight. We decided to wait in line for Peter Pan as Fantasyland is completely closed on Enight. The wait was posted at 40, but it was only 20. After being tortured for 20 minutes of listen to my boyfriend sing cheeseball Styx songs, I forced him on Its A Small World (ULTIMATE REVENGE!). As we came out, the fireworks started and we stood in Fantasyland to watch, they were great as always.
On to ENight. It was great watching CMs tell people they couldn't get on the rides because they didn't have armbands, I got a silent satisfaction out of that. First things first, walked on to Space Mountain three times in a row and we had our own car! Buzz Lightyear, three times without getting off. Haunted Mansion, walked right in. Splash Mountain two times without getting off. Wow! This is great! Screeching hault...line out the barn on Thunder Mountain. What's up with this? Only two trains running and it seems the whole park shifted that way. We only rode it once after standing in line 25 minutes. Then back to Space Mountain and take the last half hour for a turkey, I'm sorry, emu leg and frozen Coke.
Back to being a sad panda as we head back to the resort. I take one last longing glance at the castle, which was lit purple...oh Disney how can you tempt me! That's OK, I'll be back in December!
