2YR Old Issued Resort Card?

If a 2 YR old is staying with you in a studio, are they issued a resort card? The reason I am asking is:

1. Do they check for pool entrance, all members in the party have a resort card? (SAB vs non-SAB)?
2. If you want to stay the extra Magic Hours at a park, I am assuming you need to show the resort id for each person?

The two year old would not get a room ID card. Under threes don't count for much at WDW except in your heart.

The two year old would not need the card for EMH, Fast Pass or SAB (or other pool where they are checking room IDs). Yes, though, you would need a resort ID for all other guests three and over for EMH, Fast Pass and SAB (and other pools checking IDs).

Actually, we went to BCV in February and my two year old DID get a room key with his name on it. No one ever asked us for it though--we gave it to my brother so he would have access to our room/kitchen (he was in a studio).

I did have to present my other kids' room keys at SAB for towels.

We only bring one room key to the pool when we go. We have always just shown the one card while the three of us are standing there.

One room key worked for us at SAB during Pres. Week. Although half the pool was closed.

I believe the new DVC policy is that everyone in the room is issued room keys with their names on them. You can always request that they not print them out for your children (I did this last time we stayed at Vero.) I would not like to lose key cards with my children's names on them.

I just came back from BWV, they didn't issue the ID card for my 2 yr old son. And why does he need? And no one ever ask ID for a little kids.

And when you get a wristband for magic hours, they only ask for one ID, if all of your family is with you. Of course they will ask for other IDs if you ask for multiple wristband when your family is not next to you.

So don't worry... Your 2-year-old won't have any problem accessing all of WDW facilities even if he does not have ID, as long as he/she is with you.

Went to BCV in December - they asked us how many keycards we wanted.
We got three - one for each adult in our villa. We didn't get one for DD5 or DS1. At MK for MVMCP no one ever asked for anything associated with DS1 in the stroller when we turned in our tickets for wristbands. We did need one for the 5-year old, since she's a paying customer there as opposed to the under 3's, but we were told they pretty much "ignore" the under 3's.

Now that's a little scary. I rarely carry ID for my 3 year old - her driver's license has a terrible picture . And where is she staying if not with me, I'd like to know? Do they think we just picked up an extra kid in the parking lot? LOL

We were asked for room cards for our entire family twice. Once at the MK for early entry and once at SAB. Our youngest was 2. I always carry them because you never know when the cast member might ask. It is always easier to flash the card than to have to say, "She is only two. We were not given a card."
