I can now count the days before we leave on one hand!!!!!!!!!

Crazy to think this has been in the making for 9 months and it has finally got here!!!

What do you NEED to do at the Fort? Relax and have a great time. Enjoy the beautiful campground and the pleasures of camping.

Is there any last minute thoughts and things I NEED to do while at the Fort???

Take it slow, enjoy the amenities, play shuffleboard at the Meadows, go to the campfire and roast marshmallows, buy some Fort-specific stuff at the Trading Post, get a Fort pressed penny or two, play tetherball on the beach, eat a Giddyup 'n Go fried chicken dinner with cowboy beans and cornbread from Trails to Go, play checkers on the Trail's End porch, play horseshoes out front of the porch, I could go on and on ....

Is there anything I NEED to see at fort?

Look out for all the wildlife, we saw snake, deer, armadillos, lizards LOL and LOTS AND LOTS of beautiful butterflies. Go to the beach and see the Electrical Water Pageant at 9:45.

Have fun! We're only a few days behind you! So exciting isn't it? We saw all sorts of wildlife last time - including an armadillo who loved lurking around our site. And definitely go down to the beach to enjoy the fireworks - it's great there!
