$29 air Airtran from Philly Hurry

I told my dad about this but he's nervous that they will be smaller planes, does anyone know the size of these? Also, he lives in jersey-came up on mapquest as being 1hr.22min from Philly and he usually goes to Newark. How difficult is the drive to this airport?

We live in central nj and use both airports. We find the drive to Philly to be less stressful then going to Newark. This will be our first time flying Airtran, so I can't help you out with the size of the plane.

AirTran only flys Boeing 737's and 717's. Both are nice sized aircraft IMO.

I noticed with the airtran $27 deal, I had checked 4 or 5 times during the day. The lowest fare was $99. Around 5 I decided to look again to see how many direct flights there were. That's when I saw the $27 fares.

I will be checking all the time now. I think I have an obsessive planning disorder anyway. These low fares just set me off into a planning frenzy.

It looks like most flights are back up to $99.

Now I'm waiting for the November and beyond deals.
