Brenda - I am going Aug. 27th - Sept 1st and I just received my package in the mail on Saturday 7-29. I was sooooo excited!!!! I can hardley contain myself - except that we probably won't be able to go after all - but I am holding out til the last minute just in case!! Have a great time when you go !!!!

I went thru AAA so it will come to them first and then overnighted to me. I talked to my agent today and she said that she called them and they will be sent by 21 days out...which for me would have to be 18 days out. We leave on the 24th and staying offsite for 3 days. So...hoping it comes soon!
I'm just jealous,lol cause everyone else is getting there's

Brenda - We are reserved to stay at Port Orleans Riverside - same as you. My husband does not want to go because it will be too hot (not that Michigan isn't going to be 101 today, but...) and we have to go on a budget which he doesn't want to do - he has a million reasons. Hopefully it all works out and if not we will go another time. Have a wonderful vacation!!!!

We are on a budget too....but just about everything else is prepaid for except: rental car, we need to pay for two days offsite and tickets to another park.
We figured because it will be so hot is to go early in the morning to the parks, leave midday, swim or nap, and then go back in the evening. My dh doesn't want to go at all, but we haven't had big family vacation since 2003 and my oldest is 15 and already giving me crap about hanging out with the parents....so I thought this might be our last chance for a good family vaca.

Brenda - at least you managed to convince your DH to go at all even though he doesn't want to. My DH is saying he isn't going at all - I can go with the kids if I want but I don't know that I want to go without him. We will see. I guess I can wait a year or so even though I don't want to (it doesn't help that I am on these boards reading about everyones plans to go and trip reports - I should probably stop that I am making myself insane!!! - oh well!) Again, have a great trip - hopefully your teenager won't mind being in such a happy place with his parents!!!
