25th Anniversary Dinner

This year is my parents 25th Anniversary. Since bills and tuition have sucked up most of my income I'm not able to send my parents on the trip I had wanted to We are going as a family in Dec. and I have purchased tickets to La Nouba for them. I'm looking for a nice place for them to eat dinner. I have Fulton's booked right now (they would really enjoy the menu!) but it makes me a little nervous since it is not Disney owned. I want to give my credit card before they come in and have a 20% tip added but with it not being Disney owned I'm a little nervous they will get terrible service because the server will know the tip is already included. I know most Disney managers and servers will go the extra mile. Can anyone recommend a Disney owned restaurant that would be good for a 25th anniversary dinner before La Nouba? Thanks!

V&A'S will probably sweep them off there feet. I've only hear great things (I'm sure someone can add to this). My father and I will be dining there for the first time Xmas Eve and we have no special celebration. So a 25th Anniversary Dinner, it would be perfect. Hope this helps

my husband and i did dine at V&A for our 25th anniversary. we were at the chef's table. it was wonderful. our menus say "Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary" on them. and we just celebrated my husband's b-day at V&A main dining room. wonderful. so, which ever you choose would be wonderful. however, if you would prefer the downtown disney area how about portobella yacht club? it is excellent!

What a great gift for your parents!

I have to admit that I would also worry about service at Fulton's. After two very bad experiences with service there, my husband will not return.

If you think it would be best for them to dine at Downtown Disney then I would choose Portobella's too.

V&A is a very special dinner but is very expensive, too, of course. Only you know how that would fit your student budget.

Since you know they would enjoy Fulton's menu, how about Narcoossee's? I think California Grill would be another nice choice. Both of these would require some extra time for transportation to the show as would V&A.
