Thanks...... I'm excited to be going again so quickly, but really not looking forward to the 14 hr drive again or the HUGE crowds that are going to be there. I have no idea how the twins will react to the road trip, sleeping at the motel, or the parks. They could do fine & I'd worried for nothing....but I don't think that will be the case. The crowds are actually the thing that worries me the most. The girls get very stressed out by too much noise & activity & we will definately have both. I'm hoping people are a little better behaved then when we were there last year at the same time......we actually had people jumping over our daughter while she was in the stroller. Talk about pissing mommy off!!!! Anyway....excited yes, nervous for hubby's intereview & concerned about the twins.....but hey, its Disneyland & I always find something magical while there!!! We'll just have to find that "haven" for my little ones. Just being there will be enough for us since we just were there. If we get on a ride or two....bonus.....if not...that's okay too!!!

I hope the twins handle everything fine. I can see how it can be overwhelming for little ones, even for me it's gets like that.

Disneyland can be a lot to soak in at one time...that's for sure!!

It's unbelievable that they would be willing to risk hurting a small child or baby to save 2 secs......... these people need to not turn off their brains when they walk into the park.

4 days away from doing this all again!!! Of course, I thought the finances were tight for that trip after adding the kids in.....but holy crap....try doing it again less than a month from the first trip!!!! We can really tell the Mike has been unemployed since December.....staying somewhat current on bills, but after I paid them didn't leave us enough to even get down there! Luckily I have a fairy godmother that loaned us some money to make this trip. We had about half of what we needed put aside, but came up short. We're going to have a garage sale on Friday to see if we can't make a little spending cash....can't stand being in Disneyland & not picking up stuff!!!!
Hopefully we can sell the antique bed.....that would be lovely (and it would help empty out my garage!!)

I don't know how I missed this TR all this time - just stumbled on it today! I am only on page 16 but totally hooked. Mt. Shasta pic and rave review of Black Bear - you are making this Cottonwood girl homesick!! Actually, I am always homesick, but this just enhances it.

Thanks for the great TR! I am glad you had such a great time. I hope to spend my 25th Anniversary @ DLR with my family! I would do it just like you did - some alone time, some family time.

The small one I took into the parks had:
Daily Schedule
PS Resies
Extras we had: tour, Fantasmic, etc
Things to try--food & photopass ideas
Things to discover--fun little extras that people pass by
Then I had a couple empty pockets to put tickets for shows, stroller receipts, etc in.

Hope that helps.
Basically the big book was for referencing during planning & to look over daily. The small one was my lifeline that I took into the parks, so we didn't miss a PS & to have the daily tickets, etc with us & not back at the motel. It fit nicely into a backpack & was there to reference when needed.

So yesterday we did pre-sales on our garage sale & sold $74...so was energized about today's sale......but NO ONE IS COMING!!!! We've had maybe 5 people come look & I've made a whopping $2.85 Where are all the die-hard garage salers????
