Its my first trip abroad as an adult (Gone with parents but not paid much attention to travel details etc). . . And I have a few questions because I have no idea about it much.
I booked our holiday last night for Oct 2011 by the Disney UK 'package' and im paranoid that 'I will be forgotten about/I am not actually booked on flights/hotels' . . Can someone give me a sort of list when/if things arrive to stop my mind doing overtime. Yes, It is a while away yet but im still stressy until I know 'what is going on'. I take it that you have booked with Virgin Holidays? If so they you will have been given a holiday booking reference, which you can use to get onto Manage My Booking on the Virgin Holidays website, this will give you all the information about your booking and you can see what you are booked onto flight wise and hotelwise. Who did you book with just to confirm?
I have heard about this 'red envelope' but dont know much about it. This is what Virgin Holidays send your flight tickets etc out in, you will only get this if you've booked with VH
For the Orlando flight in the morning (10.25am - I think) when 'should' you arrive at the Airport ? They recommend 3 hours before
Also, With the flight. . . . Do they ask for a reservation number (Because I only have the Disney package number) or just for your name ? Who did you book with? Virgin or Disney?
Sorry, I have no clue =(

You probably know more than you think you do. As for the rest ..... well between everyone on here, this is where we get our info, advice and support.

When you log onto your Disney reservation online, everything that is on there is confirmed.

It is Virgin Holidays that has the red envelope. They send it out a couple of weeks before departure, but everything is on your booking number and can be looked up on the appropriate system, wherever you are checking in. [/COLOR]

Around 3 hours prior to departure, unless you have checked in online, in which case you can play with slightly less time.

First of all, contact Disney UK and ask them for your US reservation number. You will need this to make your online ADRs if you want to make use of the resort privilege of doing so at 190 days instead of the usual 180.
Secondly, go to the VA website, Manage my Flights section and put in your Disney UK booking 12345/S11 type format. You should have this. When it pulls up your flights you will see a different reference number. This is your flight locator number, although you don't have to have it with a package.
Sorry, I have no clue =(
Thank you =).
I booked the holiday through Disney UK=).
I put the Disney UK booking 12345/S11 type format of code into Virgin Atlantic and it doesnt register this ? Along with First and Last name of the Lead passenger. Hmm ?
One more, So I cant do ADR's online ? I have to call ?
Thank you agaaain ! =)

I don't think that the VA site will accept this booking ref, you need your actual flight locator which is a letter two numbers and a further 3 letters usually, your agent has to give this to you. Then you will be able to look at your flights on the VA website and book seats etc.
Oooh so confusing ! Hahah.
So im just as confused. Haha. . . You think it'l be a tad too early still ?
The Disney UK ones are in the same format as the VH booking numbers and the site does take them. You just have to go through a bit more of a rigmarole retrieving your booking, but once you have done this, it generates the VA reference. I got mine that way and pre booked my seats last November, using the Disney UK reference. Once I had done that, there was a reference that appeared on my flight page, which is what I now use, but both work.
They don't make it easy do they!

Please note that you may not be able to retrieve your booking until your ticket has been issued. This might take up to 48 hours after making your booking online.
Well, I know why it wasn't working. . My reference number had a "-" in it e.g. 12345-S00 instead of 12345/S00.
One problem solved =).
Nooow I got to the part with the flight number and date in it and searched that, with that. . . I guess it is only this years 'October' so I guess I have to wait until the October is finished to check for next years Oct ?
Exactly ! Less stressed now =D.
Thank you for de-confusing me =).
Roll on November so I can look at my ressie and book UK flights and hotel =).
Woooo.
Hahahhaa, You are funny ! You Disney addict =)
