I rolled the dice and thought I would check in at 24 hour mark for our trip. I was able to get high As 34, 37, 39, 41,and 42. I am assuming this will serve us well. But we do have a small plane. But I am holding high hopes. After I spent 20 minutes waiting. I elected for EB check in for ride home. I do not want to deal with this again. Well worth the 12.50/person not to stress. Now I am off to pack….

All Southwest flights are 737's, they don't have small planes.

Is the plane originating at your airport? You could be in for a rude awakening If the plane is already half full before you board.

Sam brings up a good point. If it is a non-stop flight, you'll be in great shape! Good idea to get EBCI for the return, as that seems to be the hardest (stopping vacation to check-in).

However if you are connecting somewhere else, the plane may already have people onboard and settled before A1 boards. Just something to be aware.
