24 hr check in for Airtan

Our family has never flown Airtran before. Is their 24 hour checkin online similar to Southwest? I understand I can pick seats at that time. Is there anything else I should expect?

We flew Airtran for the first time in August and had no problems with them. Yes you can choose your seat 24 hours before your flight. When I did it are seats were already assigned, but it gives you the option to switch your seats around if there are open seats. On our return flight I had somebody back at home do it for us and then they just let us know our confirmation number for our return flight. Hope this helps
