I leave for WDW next Saturday, driving from CT to WDW over 2 days. I intend to be smoke free when I get there and tell the CM at the Poly "Please change me to a non-smoking room".

Congratulations! That in itself is a great accomplishment. Take it 1 hour at a time and you should do fine. Good luck!!!

You can do it! The first few days are the hardest but then it will get easier. I quit smoking 12 years ago and have never gone back. It is a major accomplishment in my life and I'm thankful that I quit. Stick with it. It's tough but worth it.

5AM Sunday 5/18 [our 29th wedding anniversary]. I am up and out walking to the store for the Sunday papers. It is frigid this morning. Some parts of CT got frost last night. I realize it has now been 30hours without a smoke, I have never [since I was 16] gone this long without a smoke, and that thought warms me.

I'm using the committ lozenge 4mg of nicotine per lozenge. The recommended dose at the start is 9 lozenges per day but can be increased to a max of 20 per 24hr period. So far I have used 13 since about 10am Friday so I appear to be ahead of the curve.

Thanks for reminding me Micca. I had 1 more to make. Just got off the phone with WDTC and got it all set. Now I just have to get the packing done by the end of the week and get in the car.

BTW 48hrs and still going.

Good for you! I wish that I could get DH to quit but he won't try at all. I'm impressed that you've made it this far!

You'll save so much money that you ought to make an extra PS. Or get something cool at the World of Disney. Wow!
