23 days, yeah! No Magic Bands...boo!

Alright...I've been patiently awaiting the arrival of our magic bands. We are at 23 days and it has said "your magic bands are being personalized, check back soon for shipping info" for a week now! I've called twice and haven't really gotten anywhere (things like "don't panic" and "you can always get them at the resort when you arrive)...:rolleyes:

Of course I have this master plan to decorate them with my DD6. Any other suggestions? Is there a super secret number to call where I may get a different answer?

Ask to speak to a supervisor.
 
We are also at 23 days. My TA called and they told her that if they have not shipped within 10 days of my trip they will be at the resort. I have seen posts about people getting them 10, 15 and 20 days before.

This is the phone number that was posted to call for the MB issue, 407-939-4357, I believe is website support

Did you book thru a third party? Does your family have different last names?

I booked directly through Disney and me and DD have the same last name. Something was bound to go wrong, we've gotten everything we wanted (ADRs, BBB, Fastpasses)...though they were all somewhat in our control!

I will try the "ask for a supervisor" tip tonight after DD goes to bed and let you all know if that works!
 
Like the OP I have been in the same situation. I made 3 very unsuccessful phone calls. Each call told me to just be patient they would ship, etc. Thursday I finally got a person who would actually look into my band issue. Guess what there was a hold on them. He released the hold. Friday I had the message that they were personalizing and Saturday they shipped. Today I received them---9 days before my trip. Be persistent if you aren't getting action. I thanked the guy profusely for actually doing something to help me. Funny thing I talked with someone on Thursday earlier in the day who said there were no issues and I wasn't being patient enough. I believe I got off the phone and muttered something about lack of customer service. :)
 
We are 21 days out and I just got the email today that our bands were shipped.
 
That's what I went through last week. First phone call I got a cm who cheerfully assured me that I did not need them, and they would be waiting at the resort. Makes me wonder if they are trying to save the cost of postage and that nice box they come in. Next phone call I was on hold for nearly an hour with IT but did get the hold released and now have the bands safely here.
 
You guys are making me nervous! My status changed to "check back for shipping details" on 10/31 and I really thought they would have shipped yesterday. I guess I'll wait until Friday and call if they haven't shipped.
 
We recently experienced the same issue. Ours kept saying to hurry up and personalize but never went into a shipping status. We called and were told there was a glitch in the system and they had to manually push it through. The next day we got a tracking number.
 
We are 20 days out and my status also says 'personalizing, please check back for shipping info' I booked one reservation 3rd party and one directly through Disney. I am looking forward to receiving them, which makes the wait even tougher! lol

Mine did that last year, and it never updates from the shipping soon. They just showed up in our mailbox and I went online and checked and the screen still said order processing. I think it sometimes just doesn't update! Bands arrived 2 weeks before trip.
 
So weird because our trip doesn't start until Nov 30th, but we got our bands yesterday. :confused3
 
I called the number posted above (407) 939-5277...I can confirm it's the correct department to get some answers :thumbsup2

The CM I spoke with checked for a hold first (there wasn't one). At 10 days past the last day to customize the bands (which will be Thursday for us), if they still haven't shipped, then there is a process that he can start to expedite them. They won't start that process until 10 days past that customize deadline.

If you're having trouble, I would say to call and find out if there is a hold on your bands (that's the first thing he checked for us), and if there's not a hold and they haven't shipped by 20 days out, call back and inquire about the form to expedite.

We still don't have a shipping date, but I feel better knowing a little more about the process and knowing that they have a way to expedite if it hits 20 days out.
 
Hi All! I am stressing out too! Our trip begins on November 28 and it still says: "Your MagicBand order is being personalized. Check back soon for shipping details." I plan on calling by Thursday or Friday if I don't see any change. Part of the fun of the trip is getting "Mickey Mail" so I hope they will get everyone's done soon!

We are three weeks out, so I guess I will wait a few days and then call.

Hmm? Not sure, our customize deadline was at 30 days out (October 26th with a November 26th arrival day).
 
21 days here and ours haven't shipped either, says order is being personalized.

Our customize deadline is Nov 18. We check in on the 29th (but will be leaving home the 25th to spend Thanksgiving with family in FL).

I could understand it being so close if I had booked at the last minute, but we made the reservations months ago.
