23 days, yeah! No Magic Bands...boo!

This thread has been an absolute roller coaster! I started reading it, and it made me freak out about whether or not my Magic Bands were going to come in time for my 11/30 trip, then as I'm reading about everyone's bands being shipped, I'm doing the math and seeing that I shouldn't be worried...yet. I'll give it a week, and call next Friday if there still hasn't been an update.

Wanted to update as well - we are arriving on the 27th and just got an email this morning that they have shipped. So happy!

We arrive on 11/24. Mine arrived yesterday...18 days before our trip.

Hi all. Nov 27th arrival and just got the email that my bands shipped today. Was getting nervous but this board helped me know that I wasn't alone. My "your bands are being customized message" was up for 12 days before it switched to "your bands have shipped." Sending good thoughts to all still waiting!!

We never got our second set of MB's for 2 nights at the tail end of our trip. The bands are for 11/20-11/22. We leave in 6 days and they still say "Act quickly" I'm going to have dh call today about them.

I was waiting patiently (We arrive 11/25), but when I read this thread I thought, hmmm... maybe I should check.

Sure enough, ours were on hold because my daughter's band had her nickname instead of her full name... weird reason to hold, since one of the things you can customize is what you want on the back of the band.

Anyway - CM lifted the hold and said I should get a shipping notice in 2-3 days.

Also - a tip for anyone calling... when you get the choice to select who you want to talk to, make sure you press 2 for "if you are on the MDE website and having trouble" - since this gets you to the IT people, who seem to be able to make these changes quickly.

Took me less than 10 minutes, so I am super glad I called.

I called mydisneyexperience (Disney Travel) today to check on the arrival date of our bands, and was quickly told 10-15 days prior to resort check in date. I will see an email with a tracking number as a prompt. I've marked my calendar for 18 days and will call daily until I see the email.

Glad to see good progress is being made on this issue... I was a bit concerned..

when the thread first started I was like 'man that sucks but i'm sure ours will be fine'

then 30day pops up and the Status changed to: Your MagicBand order is being personalized. Check back soon for shipping details.

AND THEN NEVER CHANGED FROM THIS!!! I've been freaking out but a search for this thread re-assures me they will ship..

Our Xmas13, Spring14 and Summer14 trip bands arrived at my house one day after the last day to customize.. They were on top of their game back then I guess.. Or realized we don't need them that early?

I don't know why Disney is telling people the bands shouldn't arrive until 10 days before arrival day. Mine shipped at 30 days out and arrived today at 28 days out.

I think they are telling people 10 days so guests don't EXPECT to receive them earlier. Yes, you and many others had them shipped 30 days prior, but many of us have not. If they said 30days than many of us would be stressed out and irritated when that deadline had passed.

I just received notification that mine are shipping today. We leave in 16 days.

Just got the notice that the bands for the arrival on Nov. 28 have shipped. That is our last set to arrive.
Both Nov. 28 and Dec. 6 arrived.

Those took 2-3 days to arrive. The email said parcel post, but the tracking info had priority mail listed.

What I was trying to get across was that Disney CMs seem to be making this stuff up as they go along. When you call at 20 days out and say you haven't gotten your bands, they tell you that bands don't come until 10 to 15 days before the trip. If someone else calls at 28 days out, wondering why their bands are still processing, that CM will likely tell them that guests get their bands at three weeks out. It's a moving target and that's just absurd.

I'm arriving on the 30th as well, and I got my email last night that they have shipped!

What a relief by the way, I was freaking myself out that something was going to go wrong and I wouldn't get them in time, but now I can breathe easy!

I am in the same boat. 22 days out and no MB - says they are being customized and to check back. Funny thing is, I ordered my new AP bands AFTER the customization date for the resort bands, and those arrived last Friday!
