Love all listed above, even Die Hard! One that was not listed yet that is awesome is The Bishop's Wife with Cary Grant!
you said "a few others" besides the ones you listed so I don't know if you have these, but they are my absolute favorite holiday movies: Christmas Vacation, and Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas. Also The Homecoming (movie that started The Waltons) and The Christmas Box.
There is an old Christmas movie called Santa Claus The Movie. This is a great movie! It kind of tells the story of how Santa came to be. Very cute!
The 'required' ones for our family is:
Christmas Vacation
Claymation Christmas
Holiday Inn
White Christmas
Frosty/Rudoph
Year Without a Santa Clause
Charlie Brown Christmas
OOh OOh OOOH!! ILOVE
Claymation Christmas!! Is it available on DVD?? I haven't seen that one in years.
My favorite scene is the one with the camels singing We Three Kings with the kings. I have this vivid memory of really groovin' camels in high-top tennis shoes...
Well Christmas will be here before you know it, and I try to buy one good holiday movie every year, just something to get the season started off, this year I'm having a hard time finding anything that I don't already have, does anyone have a holiday movie that they really enjoyed????
This is what I have: It's a Wonderful Life, Grinch,A Christmas Carol, Christmas Star, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Holiday in Handcuffs, Snow, Snowglobe, Mickey's very merry Christmas, and a few others.....anyone else have anything good to add??????
