:)

I forgot one, it is on TV every year. It's not really a movie but I watch every year. "A Child's Christmas in Wales" based on a story by Dylan Thomas, read and acted by Denholm Elliott. It is only an hour long but it is so sweet and gentle about a grandfather telling his grandson about what it was like at Christmas when he was a child and ends with the boy falling asleep to his family singing 'All Through the Night' downstairs. So cozy and lovely.

Already mentioned, but I also LOVE "The Family Stone" and "Holiday Inn".

"The Bells of St. Mary's" is also nice.

I forgot 2 of my other favorites:

Muppet Christmas Carol
Elf

I also have the soundtrack for the Muppet Christmas Carol and listen to it continually throughout the season. Love it!

I'm getting so excited for Christmas just looking at this thread!!! I LOVE so many of the movies mentioned, but a few I didn't see that are *musts* for us are Scrooge and The Nutcracker Prince, they are both great for the whole family although a few scenes in Scrooge may be a little scary for smaller children.

Christmas Vacation is our Christmas Eve tradition and always will be. Never gets old ;)

Also A Christmas Story is becoming a Thanksgiving tradition (don't ask me why we chose to watch it for Thanksgiving, maybe as a prep for the amazing holiday that follows. :)
