Our cruise docs came on Monday, unfortunately we were not in, asked for re-delivery tomorrow (Thursday)
Also recieved envelope from Disney with 16 day OKW voucher, 3 x 21 day Disney tickets & free DDP. plus lots of other discount vouchers(most we won't use) Also included luggage tags.
23 days to our flights on August 5th

Wayne, thank you again for coordinating the FEs. Would you mind filtering the list and sorting them by cabin number? That would make it easier for us to deliver.

We decided it was a very informal FE exchange this cruise so whenever you like. With it being only a 4 night cruise we don't want to tie anyone to times and places so when you get time do it.

Hello everyone --

I'm just getting around to organizing for this trip (crazy time at work lately), and I hope I'm not too late to get in on the fun!

There will be four of us in cabin 5550:
[ME--wife/family travel planner] Sarah
DH Tom
DD Shelby (age 12)
DS T.J. (age 8)

We're from Silver Spring, Maryland

My mother and stepfather will be in cabin 5552.

Can we get in on the Fish Extender goodie exchange? I know my kids would KILL me if they saw this going on and they weren't involved.

Before the cruise, we'll be at WDW first from 8/16-8/19 (Pop Century), then in Port Canaveral at the Country Inn & Suites 8/19-8/21 (with a day at Kennedy Space Center on Saturday.

So I've finally had the chance to catch up on all the posts, and I see that the FE has been "closed" for a couple of weeks. I don't want to rock the boat, so I understand if you can't fit us in.

I know my kids would die to find out that I dropped the ball on this, so here's what I am going to do -- I'll bring goodies for the FE participants, and I'll put out our FE. I'll also (secretly) bring some extra goodies for my kids and sneak those in their pockets on the FE occasionally, so they still have the fun of finding surprises there. If any other participants have some extras to spare and they want to drop something at our FE, that would of course be very kind
but no one should feel obligated to do so.

I do hope to meet you all on the cruise, and maybe beforehand here on the boards. See you soon!!

Hi Sandy, Kim, and Karin! What kind folks you are!
Thanks for including us. I haven't told my kids about this yet (they've been on two other Disney cruises, but it has been about four years since our last one, and we don't remember FEs back then).

Now that I know there will be "something" in our FE, I will get them excited about this and we'll start putting together our goodies for others this weekend.

I'm sure my kids will be interested in meeting yours! We've traveled with another family on our last three cruises (two Disney, one Carnival in Alaska), so my kids always had friends around before. This time, our usual companions aren't joining us, so I'm sure my children will be very pleased to meet some other kids their ages.

Matt hopes to start University Sept 2012, 3 years English Language Degree then possibly 1 year post Graduate Journalism. He has visited local newpapers here with a circulation of about 12,000/week so he is looking forward to seeing the OS newsroom which has a daily circulation near to 1/4 Million.
