Did anyone else sailing on this cruise feel the variety shows as well as the activity’s for adults was sub par?

There was only 3 shows of Disney quality and the one variety act that was even decent was the ventriloquist, the activity people even running the bingo were way below what we have come to expect.

Just looking for others opinion, maybe the 3 new ships have sucked all the resources and we pay the price.

I was on the Fantasy the week before (or, perhaps on the same sailing as you if you meant "Ending on 20oct18", unless you're still on the Fantasy as you posted), and felt much the same way. The WD Theater has gone from 5 nights of live Disney shows to 3. Having a magician that you could see on any cruise line entertain on the first night was a particular letdown, compared to what they had previously. And, they didn't bother to say much of anything before the show the first night - I suppose it would be embarrassing to talk about how great the cruise was going to be, including the Disney-only entertainment, and then introduce an industry-standard act. I hope you made your thoughts known on the comment card.

We sailed on 20oct18, yes disappointing only 3 Disney shows, also quality of,variety acts were terrible. They even had a magician in the tube who’s act was bad anyway but one of,his tricks was to put his head in a balloon. Thought that was poor choice for family show when he had 20,kids sitting in front of him. Wrote e-mail to DCL got courtesy standard response. Did complain to guest services and got face to face with assist director JP I think. He gave me face time and acted interested,
