.................................................

I don't know. I find it all a bit crazy. I won't lie I wish I could live such a care free life, in California. I think they are just as vapid as they appear. I don't like Viki. I find her hideous inside and out but I too could not believe Jena's sons. I wonder what his team members are going to say to him when they see the episode. :sad2:

Shane is on steroids big time. That can account for some of the hostility he displayed toward his mom. Steroids make you MEAN and really change your brain chemistry, making you super aggressive.

I noticed a couple of episodes ago how big Shane had gotten when he came home to visit his mom. No way do you get that big in such a short amount of time without using steroids. Believe me, I know.

My husband watches with me and said the same things! But roid rage or not, Shane is a spoiled jerk who treats people like trash, and thinks he is better than everyone else. He just did not his mom and Vicki there because he was embarrassed like a 13 year old would be. Shane is 22! Get a grip. He is appaling.

hhmmmm.... do You think that these women's true lives and personalities are being revealed?
Or:confused3
Do You think that it is an agenda to portray them in this horrible manner?

It seems so very different than what the show was when it began.

It's wretched.

Just goes to show all the money in the world does not buy happiness.. respect..personal ethics or love.

I agree. When this show first came on I liked to watch , sort of in fascination of the way these women lived. I mean those shopping trips! But it's become just another trashy reality show, nothing but cat fights.:crazy2:

Wasn't Shane a virgin when the show started. I wonder how he's doing now? I thought maybe Shane didn't want her on the feild because she would stick out with the cameras taping and all. Also, did anyone notice when "Tamra" was with her Mom in the hospital that SHE called her Tammy? I caught that. Because I know some comment on her name?!

Yeah, I would be telling my son if he was on that team to stay away from him as he would lead to trouble. What a brat! Oh- and if my dd was dating him I would tell her to take a long hard look because usually the way a boy treats their Mom is the way they will treat you. Then I would buy her a one way ticket to the east coast so she could get away!:rotfl2:

I'm sorry but is Vicki the only one allowed to have a blu-cheese stuffed olive grey goose dirty martini?!?!? DANG! Come off your high-horse already!

......and poor Lynne....so stuck on trying to be/look young, it's not even funny. She's too busy trying to be a friend instead of a mom to her kids. They totally walk right over her while sitting there drinking in front of her face and she thinks it's okay as long as they do it in front of her. How lame! If they can do it in front of you, they'll darn sure do even worse behind your back!

Lynne...out there sitting at the hotel pool....looking like a Raisin In The Sun.

:sigh:

I've gotta agree with everything you've said. A grey goose dirty martini with bleu cheese stuffed olives happens to be my favorite drink, too. I guess if I'm ever with Vicki, I'll have to order a cosmo? :confused3

The only thing about kids drinking in front of you that I don't agree with you about is that if you allow your child to have a sip of wine with dinner (not a whole glass, but a few sips) it takes the mystery out of alcohol, IMHO. However, I DO agree with not letting them get ripped when you're having a party in your house. Who was watching the bar at Lynne's house? I guess Hillary Clinton's idea of it taking a village to raise a child doesn't apply to Lynne's friends who didn't question why her 18 yo was drinking with her friends at the party.

Raisin in the sun... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: You nailed that one!

Gotta love how much must have been comped to the housewives while they were in Vegas.

What started to REALLY tick me off is I saw the episode with the daughter who's going to Berkeley - I think she was Jeana's? SO many kids are sweating through college-acceptance right now [http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2077622&page=8] and this girl just seemed *so* oblivious to her good fortune. She got to go to BERKLEY, a first-class school, and doesn't really seem to care. Well, la-dee-frickin-da little girl, move over and give your slot to a kid who actually wants to be there.

agnes!

Questioning Lynn's dd drinking.
Jeana was questioning Lynn's dd.
She even commented how wrong it was.

At Vegas, -Vicki, you can't cover the camera lens up.
It caught you.

I liked how the camera caught Vicki's family when she was making supper.
But I think that whole screen was scripted.
"Hey Vicki, you aren't going to buy the boat",
"so, let's put together a scenario".
It was good to see doing something that an average family will do,
but when Don said, "why get rid of something, "the lake house", when the market is in the toilet, I knew right there, that whole thing was scripted.
A million dollar decision isn't made in a brief moment.

I was trying to figure out when Jeana came home to Wisconsin.
She commented on the humidity, and the lack of people on the Lake Shore of Michigan was unusual too. I'm thinking it had to be right after Labor Day, we had some really hot humid days when the kids went back to school.

Boy, did Jeff look really bad! I felt so sad for his family.

Lynne is the one I can't stand the most. She is an idiot. She always has this dazed look on her face. Then when her mom told her to take Raquel's car away for a while for the drinking, she said, no I'm not going to do that, it was a birthday present. Well, if my kids are bad, I punish them which includes not using birthday gifts-like Ipods- while they are grounded.

I don't understand why Vicki listens to her daughter on what to buy. Her daughter is grown. If Vicki wanted to buy the boat, why does her daughter have any say in it? I think Vicki new it wasn't a good idea because I don't think she would let Don tell her no on something she really wanted.

I totally agree - did she really not know if she has air conditioning in her house, or was she just playing dumb!

Jeff died on September 13, so that might help with the timing. I didn't see last night's show yet...briefly saw Jeff, and he did look awful.

I agree with you. Lynne makes me nuts...what a space shot. And I guess it's MUCH better for your drinking teen to kill or maim herself or other people than take away a birthday present.

What was with Gretchen going on a girls weekend when Jeff just came home?! She already committed to it?! I couldn't even imahine doing that.:sad2:

I burst out laughing when Lynne seemed insulted to be put in the same age bracket at Jeanna. :rotfl2: Hey Lynne, we know you're not 30 like Gretchen. Get over it!

TrainWreck1.gif

Shocked that Vicki was not on a laptop in this episode AT ALL.

What the HECK did Jeana say to Lynne in the pool...OMG...something like "you are boring but we tolerate you".............

Vicki is a MESS. Last week she tells some guy at that bar that her b**bs want to come out and play and then this week she is all over some guy and putting her hand up to the camera so they don't catch it..... She is THE ultimate trainwreck. Wonder what Donn must be thinking watching these episodes.

Lynne is not even going to vacuum or use her blender as it might wake up her daughter..... The daughter is a loser and a drunk and Lynne is ALLOWING all this behavior. She is NOT a mother, she is trying too hard to be her friend. :sad2:

Jeff did look pretty bad. How sad. And Gretchen could have easily canceled her "all paid for trip by Bravo and Red Rock Casino" to stay home with her ailing boyfriend. ::yes::

Yea, I felt so baaaad for him. Where is it a written rule that you HAVE to go with your girlfriends to Vegas, just because you so called "committed", even though your very sick fiance is at home after being in the hospital for 2 MONTHS?!?! That was ridiculous. She should've stayed home....and it's even sadder, knowing that he has since passed away.

You can't take care of someone else...if...you can't take care of yourself. The stress is incredible...when caring for a terminally/chronically ill loved one. You have to have an outlet. You MUST take time to recharge.

She did an awful lot of recharging while he was in the hospital.

The show allows us to see a small slice of their whole life and it is severely edited.

I do not wish sit here and judge how much or little time Gretchen spends with her finace.

She made sure his kids were there to take care of him while she was gone.

Maybe she was contractually obligated to attend and maybe he insisted she attend.

I'm not going to judge her.
