.................................................

Have the tv on in the background - the last 2 episodes - while waiting for tonights new episode to come on and the more I listen, the more aggravated I'm getting with Tamra and Vicki..

Tamra was clearly trying to "force" something to happen between her spoiled rotten son Ryan and Gretchen.. She is so jealous of Gretchen and so threatened by her, Tamra is actually willing to use her own son as "bait".. That is one very evil, sick woman.. :sad2:

As for Vicki, she clearly has to dominate every conversation and when someone else dares to speak up - or worse yet, disagree with her - she acts like she is the Queen of England and someone just spit on her..

Please tell me that these women are NOT for "real"..:sad2:

I have also noticed a change in Jeana's appearance.. To me she looks very, very tired - possibly depressed - or maybe even ill.. I hope she's okay..

There was an interview with Vicki on msn the other day. It still hasn't changed my opinion of her. In fact it just made me find her more annoying.

Boy is Lynne walking through life with blinders on about Raquel!!! Hello!!!! She's drunk, she has no job (and her parents just bought her a BMW), she's had other problems, and what does Lynne do? Blow it off! Then makes remarks like "She's my little trouble maker". Make her get a job if she's not going to school.

10 minutes to go here... Interested to see what happens tonight. I can only say I am glad I am not one of these women......

Wow:sad2: Last nights episode was just sad to watch all around. I've always liked Jeana the most out of all the OC housewives, but seeing her take the verbal abuse from Shane was just sad. Last night's episode changed my opinion about Lynne- hello-your underage daughter and her friends are getting drunk at your house:sad2:

I felt so bad for Jeana. Her kids need a come to Jesus meeting. They treat her horribly. I think she makes excuses for it because she is hurt. Even though I think Vicki is a horror I still think it was so rude of Colton to tell Vicki "I'm not talking to you. MYOB" or something like that. If I ever did that my Mom would have smacked me in the mouth so hard that my head would have been spinning like the exorcist!

Lynne needs to wake up and smell the coffee with her kid. She is not doing her any favors. Also, her teeth are so whitened that whenever she smiles it is blinding.

Even though Vicki is not well-liked around here, she was dead on about her opinion about Jeana and her kids. Yikes.

Don't worry, GJM. They will repeat it over and over all week. Just keep your eyes open. Jeana's sons treat her horribly. They must have learned that from their father. I felt bad for her. Can you imagine how those boys will treat their wives when they get married?!:sad2:

Ya, and Lynne makes the remark..."well she is 18, they are lazy"...um No Lynne, not all 18yo's are lazy. My DS was in college @ 18. :confused3

:sad2: I felt horrible for Jeana last night, just horrible. Shane and Colton have absolutely NO respect for their Mom! My DH & I watched that last night and as I was so sad for Jeana, DH wanted to "throw a bat at Shane"......:sad2:

***As someone that just started watching this show; what happened to Jeana's DH that her life was so painful as she states, something about Matt's accident????? :confused3

Okay, think about this. Lynn's DD, Raquel, mentioned that she graduated from Horizons which is a High School for kids with behavior problems. Hello! Don't these kids normally get sent there because of problems that have been going on for years? It's normally not a school that has a waiting list of kids WANTING to go there. So, in addition to her DD going to a different high school, Lynn's ALLOWING her DD to drink at home because she knows it's going to happen and would prefer it happen at home. Isn't she basically telling her DD that it's okay to drink then and the DD interprets it that she can drink anywhere? Because that is the mentality of an 18 YO CHILD! AND this girl has a High School Diploma with no job and no ambition to do anything. Hope the boyfriend is able to keep her in the lifestyle that Mommy and Daddy are. Well, I guess you really reap what you sew!

I really feel for Jeanna. Yes, her boys are JERKS! (Being nice here.) But, I do think it is learned behavior from Matt and also how Jeanna allowed Matt to treat her. I honestly believe that Jeanna has a heart of solid gold and deserves so much better. I think if she found someone who loved her for who is really is, that the weight would just melt off of her. I think it's all due to depression and sadness of being alone.

Okay, was I the only one who thought that, oh gee, can't remember her name from Chicago. The one who moved. Anyway, I think she had her lips "done". They look much "puffier" than before.

Back to being a "Real Housewife" here. You know, one who cleans, cooks and does laundry!

Years ago, while sitting in the dugout, Matt was hit in the head by a baseball. He suffered severe brain trauma and it effected his personality. According to Jeanna, from that point on, he basically hated her and the kids. In previous shows, you can hear him only making negative comments to her and the kids.

I don't know how long it's been, but I feel that she looks at the situation as that he is the father of her kids and she needs to help him, no matter what.

Wow, yikes...how sad. BUT with all their money, why haven't they thought to get Matt some help...:confused3 What a horrible environment for those boys/Jeana to have to live in daily...no wonder they have so much anger. :sad2: I think the first show I saw was Jeana looking to buy $800.00 sheets/bedding ...come on now, that money should be going towards getting her family some serious help. JMHO! And why even do this show when obviously her family needs so much pyschiatric help. I really like Jeana, it was just so sad watching her try to rationalize Shane and Colton's comments last night which were just so demeaning to HER. Their Mother. :sad2:

The thing I could not believe is that Shane was speaking to his mother in that manner in front of his host family, Vicki and his girlfriend. I hate to imagine how he speaks to her in private or when it is family only.:sad2: Edited to add, Shane's girlfriend should consider herself forewarned and run for the hills...

With regards to Matt's injury, if he has damage to his frontal lobe, the center of emotions and the area which controls inhibition, therapy may not help his behavior. I am not stating that I know for certain what his injury is, but I can say that cognitive therapy does not help everybody, especially if there is an organic cause to his illness/behavior.

My heart breaks for her seeing her so depressed and feeling defeated.

Time for some tough love for her sons and for Lynne's girls.

Shane is on steroids big time. That can account for some of the hostility he displayed toward his mom. Steroids make you MEAN and really change your brain chemistry, making you super aggressive.

I noticed a couple of episodes ago how big Shane had gotten when he came home to visit his mom. No way do you get that big in such a short amount of time without using steroids. Believe me, I know.

She was right about that and about Gretchen talking to Jeff about money. She just goes about expressing herself in a PITA way.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The person who needed to be batted was Shane.

Therapy may help Jeanna and her kids to get their heads on straight so they can be nicer to one another and to others, although the following quote holds a lot of merit, IMHO...

I hadn't thought about this causing Shane's aggression, but I think you nailed it. That, coupled with his upbringing, explains a lot about his attitude.

Lynne needs to spend some of her money on a clue. Her DD is a deralict. She needs some tough love in a huge way. I have friends who have spoiled DDs. They bought the oldest one an audi when she went to school, but it wasn't prestigious enough for her tastes. She started shopping for a Benz or a BMW. She finally wore her parents down and they bought her the BMW. I know my friends, though. They would cut her off quickly if she wasn't trying to work for her education. She wouldn't be rewarded for laziness. Even though my friends' DD is spoiled, she has a job so she can help her parents support her living in NYC while she's getting her master's degree, even though her parents don't need the help. They encourage her to work so she can learn self-worth and how to support herself so she will not have to rely on a man (or her father) to do it for her.

Lynne also said that "Raquel needs discipline". Well Lynne, that is your job. You are the parent. Discipline your kid. Or are you just gonna wait around for someone else to do it. Or wait for it to just go away. At this point, she's an adult. It's too late for discipline.

Not when you're the one holding the purse-strings.

hhmmmm.... do You think that these women's true lives and personalities are being revealed?
Or:confused3
Do You think that it is an agenda to portray them in this horrible manner?

It seems so very different than what the show was when it began.

It's wretched.

Just goes to show all the money in the world does not buy happiness.. respect..personal ethics or love.
