.................................................

Ugh...Ryan is a nasty little creep.

Lynne designs "cuffs"? Really? Fred Segal?? Wow. I just don't see it.

Ryan was not as impaired as Gretchen. As drunk as she was, she told him time and time again "No."

What part of N and what part of O does the little creepazoid not understand?

The whole set-up almost looked like aiding and abetting a sexual assault with Mommy Dearest playing the part of Ryan's pimp.

I don't know if anyone else caught this, but Gretchen - when she was in the bathroom (and talking to the Spawn of Satan) - said something along the lines of it(?) was cute but little :rolleyes1 .

agnes!

Shoot!! I forgot to watch it AGAIN!! :crazy2:

If I didn't like Gretchen so much (and she wasn't engaged to Jeff), I would love to see her get a "thing" going with Ryan just to teach "Mommie Dearest Tamra" a good lesson.. That would drive her nuts!!! :rotfl:

The more I watch Vicki the more I really can't stand her!

Is a person really successful if they have to keep reminding people how great they are? YUCK!

Wish Don would leave her for Jeana and then take Vicki for half of everything---she is so beligerent. She can be so "classless" like tonight talking to Gretchen about Jeff's money and making sure she gets "her share"--yet she tries to blame others for her bad behavior.

Tamra...is an insecure witch who is extremely jealous of the younger, much more beautiful Gretchen. The way she talks about her creepy son, no wonder he is such a slime!

Lynne is the most down to earth and does try to protect Gretchen from the other horrid witches----but I just can't see her being a success with her cuff designs. She is very fit looking but how old is she? Her skin looks like leather--not on her face but from her neck down. Steven Tyler's twin.....and that daughter of hers is a piece of work...I don't care how they edit the show, she is an ungateful little snip and they should take her car, sell it and don't treat her like the princess she thinks she is!

Here is Tamra's blog in response to last weeks episode...

Wives Gone Wild

Jan 16, 2009 2:31 PM
I just wanted to start off by saying thank you so much to Brian Malarkey for all he did for us. The meal was as amazing as his personality! I would also like to say congratulations on your new baby. I remembered Brian from Top Chef and actually met him and his lovely wife at the Project Runway fashion show in New York last year. Simon and I were both so excited about working with him. Thanks again to Brian and his team. The food was amazing!

I was actually looking into etiquette classes for my kids and came across Naomi's class and thought it would fun. I have never claimed to be high society and I'm not about to try now! Simon always teases me on my "Tamra style" of doing things. I am a no-frills type of person. I don't need 10 plates and 10 glasses and fancy napkins to have a meal. I do know there is a time and place for it though. Things to me are black and white and I tend not to sugar coat most things. I understand how that can rub people the wrong way. The one great thing about being on this show is that you get to see yourself from the outside. You have two options, you can use what you've learned about yourself to improve or you can ignore it. I think it has been a learning experience for each of us and we will all walk away as better people than when we came into this.

Overall I did find Naomi's class to be interesting, but I still hold my fork in my right hand.

I was surprised to see the storyline in this episode. Do you really think I would go to all the trouble and expense just to get someone drunk? There was no conspiracy or plot. If I never made that drunken comment, the show would have gone in a completely different direction. No one had a plot to hurt anyone! I made the drunken stupid comment to Vicki and production RAN with the idea to hype the show (which worked because the ratings were through the roof). If you noticed we were pretty much all "wasted" before I made that comment to Vicki, who in returned said, "Gretchen is already wasted." I think Vic and Jeana were the most sober housewives there. I went shot for shot with Gretchen, no one held a gun to our heads. It was actually one of the best nights we had together -- I think Gretchen is one of the funniest girls I know. My kids are still walking around the house yelling, "TamRRRAAAAAAAAAA." We all knew the footage was going to be wild, but we had no idea about the twist it would take. I knew Ryan and Gretchen were talking, but that was all I knew. Gretchen is a cute girl and Ryan had never met her before, he had no idea she had a boyfriend. As for Ryan's behavior, he did nothing wrong! If you watch the footage, his hands were to himself and most of the night he was rolling his eyes at us. At one point he had to catch Gretchen from falling at the bar. When things did get out of hand, Simon pulled Ryan aside and explained the situation. Ryan is a 23-year-old single boy and acted like any boy would if a pretty girl was flirting with them.

At the end of the night, Simon made sure everyone took cabs home (including Ryan). Gretchen was so drunk that we were afraid she was going to pass out in the back of the cab and who knows what would had happened, so she decided to stay at our house. Simon sat up with her for a while and made her something to eat. They talked about Jeff and what he was going through. Simon's mother had cancer 3 times and he was with her through the process. All the while I was in the bathroom hugging the toilet. I felt really bad about the comment I made when I saw the footage and knew at that time I SHOULD NOT DRINK. One thing I learned from this week's episode is that alcohol does not mix well with my Indian blood and therefore I should stop drinking. No excuses. Everyone is responsible for his or her own actions, drunk or not. I know that people are very opinionated about this week's episode and I understand why from the footage. But truth be told, the girls and I are a family. We might be dysfunctional, but in the end we are on this crazy ride together.

Hi guys, just jumping in here! Hope you don't mind.

I did hear her say that, and I about jumped out of my chair! Ryan is disgusting, and if I was his mother, he would have been smacked in the head once or twice that night. Blech, he is gross!

I fell asleep and didn't see the whole episode last night but that lunch with Vicki being so rude was ridiculous. Calling Lynee confrontational? :confused3 Vicki should look that word up in the dictionary because that is her to a t. She is a shrew who is so miserable and lacking in self esteem that it is annoying to watch. On some level I get what she was trying to say to Gretchen but she went about it all wrong. I would never tolerate that from her if she was my insurance agent. Her attitude is so self righteous.

Tamra's blog is OMG! Ryan did nothing wrong? How about the rule that you don't try to have sex in a bathroom with your mother's drunk friend? Wow, what a warped sense of reality. Her son can do nothing wrong even if he does everything wrong... sort of like Lynne and her girls.

As for Jeanna and Vicki coaching Gretchen that she needs to talk to Jeff about finances after he passes away, I agree with them. She put her life on hold and needs something to tie her over until she is working again. It doesn't have to be millions, but something, so she doesn't wind up on welfare would be the right thing for Jeff to do. Lynne telling her not to mention it is short-sighted. Vicki's insistance on getting her fair share was over-the-top, too. She needs something in the middle of what they were both saying. She was in a scary situation. Knowing that she wouldn't have to move into a box under a bridge would make things a little more bareable for her.

After seeing how those hand designed cuffs are made with a glue gun, who would pay upwards of $300 for one? They were as nice as the stripper dress. :upsidedow

Huh??!!:confused3 It seemed like every time they showed a clip of them his hands were rubbing her back, around her whole body or grabbing her rear-end, never-mind the bathroom incident!!

I always liked Vicki and Tamra but I'm really starting to dislike them this season.

Tamra is a piece of work. I liked her last season, but this season she seems to be letting her true colors show.

Like others have said, how many times did Gretchen have to say no to Ryan before he would stop? She must have said it 10 times! That is just wrong. He was acting like a 15 year old in heat.

I can't believe Vicki fell!

At their dinner, I agreed with Jeanna and Vicki. Gretchen does need to talk to Jeff and find out what's going on. Lynne is a bubble head to tell them they were wrong. She probably don't know anything about her finances.

Did you guys notice in Jeanna's bathroom( in the first 10 minutes of the show) that she has a urinal in her bathroom?

I completely agree with your whole post (so much for me not watching anymore  :) ).

Vicki thinks anyone that has an opinion different than hers is being "confrontational". I used to not mind Vicki but she's really starting to get on my nerves this season.

"Handmade" $300 cuffs? Wow. The sad thing is she'll sell a ton of them just because she's on the show.

You know, Vicki falling after she got the non-award award was almost poetic justice. While I wouldn't want to see any of them get hurt, her talking about how wonderful she is and then falling on her butt was just too much! :thumbsup2

OK everyone, did you all hear Gretchen say after putting the life preservers on her puppy dogs that she heard that there could be TSUNAMI's in NB...well Gretchen used to live in NB and worked in Corona Del Mar.....I live in NB and DH and I were out Saturday walking the beach in Corona and this is what I found! Now I was aware of the possibility of earthquakes when moving to CA but TSUNAMI's! :faint:

The beach in Corona is beautiful! :goodvibes

Back to the show....why does all their "group" lunches have to have soooo much drama all the time!!! :upsidedow And Vicki again with the laptop while in the limo...she is the most annoying one of all of them! ::yes::

I call it karma. She's not a very nice person. She's rude, judgemental, mean and nasty. Karma's a *****.:rotfl2:

Uh yeah, those cuffs that Lynne made were fugly! And I mean FUGLY. I can only think Fred Segal wanted some air time.

O man o Man O MAN....

Lynne reminds me of the chick from the Terminator. Her cuffs suck and aren't worth anywhere near the $225+ she charges.

Tamra is a WITCH. SHE is the one who is so TOTALLY jealous of Gretchen. It's not even funny. I had to rewind the TV when she said something like "I think Gretchen is a little envious of where I am in my life right now. She needs to put down the drinks and get her life together." WHA?!?! OMG, TAMRA! Who the **** are YOU?!?!?

Ryan even LOOKS like a "creepazoid"...lol. Just like his mother. I am so glaaaaaaaaad Gretchen played him. He is such a joke. She was obviously drunk as a skunk but she ain't no fool.

Vicki...............BWHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA! Get over yourself.

I still like Jeana, she just seems so unhappy and lonely sometimes. I really wish the best for her.

The whole set-up almost looked like aiding and abetting a sexual assault with Mommy Dearest playing the part of Ryan's pimp.
::yes:: :scared:

I can't stand Lynne. If she's so worried about aging, she should stay out of the sun. She's a poster child for overdoing the sun worshiping; her face looks like it's going to melt into her lap. She sounds like an idiot when she talks about her girls...the spoiled rotten alcohol drinking brats, and about how "classy" her DD's slutty dress was (well, actually it was Lynne's dress that her DD was just borrowing)...exactly what "class" is she talking? Low?

The rest I've gotten used to over the seasons, even tho I'm often :sad2: at them (I started watching because DH had business dealings with one of the DHs and had met the wife. :)) ; I wouldn't exactly want to be friends with any of them. :crazy2: I think Gretchen is pretty witty, even tho I cringe at some of the things she does.
