Amen, almost embarrasssed to reveal this, but I live a few streets over from Jeana and Vicki and I can attest that most of us "housewives" DETEST this show and how it portrays us. These women are basically the current villains in our community and are gawked at everywhere from the grocery store to restaraunts to TJMaxx! Everywhere has these wacko type of people, some just aren't stupid enough to decide to air themselves on tv for the world to make fun of!

ITA with you, cotomom!!! They are an embarassment to all of us here in the OC!

The biggest Society woman in my city is in the paper every week ...She's older with "big" hair-that is jet black and a face a la' "Cher".........I was BOWLED OVER to see her shopping in our local discount clothing store one day.

I spent the first 40 years of my life in Orange County, CA. It is also where Disneyland is, and believe me, this is not the norm for orange county. This is a mis leading tv show. They need to change the name of the show.

Jeana is a good friend. I think that Gretchen is an adult and maybe should have been more responsible, but I understand that she was under a terrific amount of stress, so she gets a pass from me.

I have always enjoyed Tamra, but her motives to get the emotionally fragile girl drunk off her *** were just plain evil. I have no respect left for her. None.

It was a tough episode to watch.

Finally caught the repeat of last Tuesday and what can I say?

Tamra is an evil, hateful, spiteful witch!! With "friends" like her, who needs enemies? I was absolutely disgusted by her whole "set up" of Gretchen..

Vicki is all about Vicki and I can't believe Don puts up with her. I wouldn't care to be around any of them. Jeana is the only one who seems to be genuine.

Oh my gosh, I have to say that thought crossed my mind too. Tamra could be the grandmother to Gretchen's child.

I thought it had something to do with one of her facial procedures or something that disqualified her from giving blood.

She said something about what it was but I can't remember now. It was something in her system I think. There was nothing wrong with her.

Yea, she takes perscription Accutane. It is been linked to suicides in people who take it along with birth defects.

I just finished watching last weeks episode. I agree, it was difficult to watch. Tamara egging on Gretchen was so wrong. Lynn and Jeanna were the only ones trying to help Gretchen. At one point, Tamara put a shot in front of Gretchen and Lynn said, "no Gretchen, don't do it." and Tamra tapped Lynn's arm and and shook her head "no" as if to stop Lynn from trying to stop Gretchen.

Then Tamara kept saying, "give Gretchen another shot, she needs another shot, she has been really stressed." It was awful and I felt really bad for Gretchen. She was beyond drunk and her judgement went out the window.

Tamra's thirst for being cruel completely negated any thought she had for liability. If Gretchen drove and killed someone or herself, Tamra would have been just as liable, probably more than Gretchen. That video would have been sufficient for sure.

tamra needs to spend a few weeks locked down with those rock of love girls-esp. if they can arrange for lacey to tag along.

better yet-there needs to be a 'real housewives of orange county-charm school'-let sharon osborn knock those attitudes down a few pegs, teach them to dress their age-and for good measure she can give the new girl a crash course in reccognizing, aknowledging and addressing teen alcoholism and eating disorders.

I'm not defending Tamra, but someone posted one of Jeanna's blogs quite a few posts back and in it, Jeanna talked about how Simon, Tamra's husband made sure all the guests had drivers bring them home...if true, at least there was some form of accountability on their part. It seems like Simon is a level headed guy. I like him...

We can say alot about "omg....cant believe this....she did that....she did this'....etc etc etc. I am the first one to admit that I love these reality trainwreck shows...and I know why....it makes me feel better about my life!!! LOL!!!! but my question especially lately....why do these people put themselves out there like this? Atleast with "real" actors, they are playing a part....you may like or not like. But these people are showing their 'real" lives....esposing their children, etc....I just dont get it??? Does anyone have a ballpark for how much they get paid??? (than maybe I would understand...LOL!!!!)

I was glad to see Jeana with her trainer. I've always liked her.. I hope she's able to get into a better place emotionally.
