As someone that lives here in the OC, really I have to say the only thing I like about the show is to see all the scenery shots. The OC is so beautiful. From Laguna where Lynne lives to Coto, to San Juan Capistrano, to San Clemente.....just I am in Newport Beach and that (I think) is the nicest. That is where Vicky is buying her yacht. And I have yet to meet any plastic people....seriously!!! Everyone we have met is so sweet, down to earth, nice people. The shopping is amazing. The Malls are all so beautiful. The one here in NB is called Fashion Island!!! It is

About Gretchen and Jeff's relationship...it is what it is. They each got something from each other in one way or another. If Gretchen made a very sick man happy in his dying days, well, then, who am I to judge.

What is up with Vicki though? She has no compassion whatsoever for Gretchen or Jeff. The whole time Tamra and Jeana were on the phone with Gretchen(in the last episode), Vicki is rolling her eyes and making faces. In the last episode, when they were in the limo on the way to the spa. I think it was Jeana who asked Gretchen how Jeff was doing. Vicki immediately gets on her phone and computer and just ignores the whole conversation. She was extremely rude. She couldn't even bring herself to say "I'm sorry you have to go through this".

I used to like Vicki. Even though she was a little annoying. But, this season, she is just obnoxious.

It says Jeff was 53, either hiss illness really took a toll on him, but he looked more like 73 or at least in his sixties. He was not 53.

Vicki is a very rude and mean person. Did you see the hand move she did with the whole phone call? If you have it on tape go back and look. Wow is all I can say.

I need to stop doing this because I did the samething with Jon and Kate plus 8 and now I can't watch it anymore and I am afraid I have done the same with this show.

I recently started watching this. I was sad to see Lauri go. She was the most down to earth of them all.

Tamra & Gretchen look like clones of each other. They even have the same hairstyle. Why in the world would you want to look like a carbon copy of someone else?

I thought it was so telling when Gretchen said to her fiance's daughter, when she was ragging on her to get a job to pay for a car, "You want to know what my job is? It's taking care of your father & his cancer treatments?" or something to that effect. He certainly found himself a young & pretty nursemaid to take care of him, and is willing to pay in diamonds for it.

I have been watching the show from the beginning, and IMHO Laurie is nice now, but she is the supreme gold digger. All she talked about when she first met George was what he bought her and where he would take her. Josh does hold a lot of responsibility but she was terrible to him, she called him from vacation practically bragging about being there and she was so sory that he couldn't come. She just woudln't take him, yes he had caused some problems, but he wasn't in rehab at the time or jail, maybe jusst maybe if she spent more time on her kids with the excpetion of her precious Sophie. Josh would have turned out a little better. She is nothing but out for hersefl and now that she has George she is set for life.

Josh may have been on probation or parole and wasn't allowed to leave the state/county. That may be why he wasn't along on vacation with them.

Do you think that Vickie is jealous of Jeana's new found freedom and that's why she soured things with Donn? That's the impression that I've been getting from her. Sort of like, "well, the Joneses are getting divorced. I need to do the same thing to keep up with them."

Very good point! I never thought about that .

She really needs to slow down, I'd hate to see the day when she crashes. I liked her when the show first started, but I don't like the way she treats Don and her kids.
