ETA: my mom and MIL will be here xmas day. I love them both, im pretty sure they love me but Im not so sure they love each other. This might smooth out the edges!

Since it is mixed with other ingredients, you don't need to buy an expensive champagne!

With your mom and MIL both being there, just serve whatever and keep it plenty!

For some reason my family breaks out the peach schnapps and baileys at Christmastime. Though no baileys for me. I like it but it doesn't like me. Now peach schnapps I'm all in for! 1 ounce schnapps, (if not peach whatever you like), 1 ounce vodka and OJ does it for us. Ok the 1 ounce may be a bit off too.

i don't really drink a lot of different drinks. it's usually water......once in a great while i'll have caffiene free pepsi.....

I like eggnog alright, but what is a bigger treat during the holidays is FRUIT JUICE.

I, as a child, was for some reason not allowed to have any sort of juice (orange juice, lemonade, ect) and account that it wasn't healthy, and that oranges and lemons are really tiny spheres of destruction piloted by tiny cats that planned on doing away all little kids who liked fish better as pets.

Ok, so maybe not. But I liked cold drinks in the winter and hot drinks in the summer.

I was at a Christmas party years ago and they were doing these shots but called it "Three Wise Men."

Another version is a shot of equal parts of Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and Johnnie Walker (thus the Three Wise Men - lol).

My holiday favorites are eggnog, hot chocolate with butterscotch schnapps, and, of course my any-day favorite, margaritas!
