Apologies if this info has been discussed ....but done know the times for these events... specifically the AK ones for this year?
I think HS has the least food/side-dish like options (other than water parks which has none).Yes I realize there isn’t meals per se, but sometimes you see, some thing like an egg roll type thing that counts as a snack. At HS, I was really confused what counted for the voucher.
So, what happens if you do this in case of extra people, and they don't end-up coming?I have done that when I am not sure if others will join. Sometimes the registration is too far out for us to know.
This time, I know it’s just DH and I so I didn’t get more than 2. But, in the past, I have grabbed the number in the room…added family members just in case…so I had them.
Everyone has to enter with the registered member. So, what happens if you do this in case of extra people, and they don't end-up coming?
It seems like they made a point that everyone needs to be present at check-in to be allowed in. So if you show up with 2, but your registration says 3, will there be a problem?
How about if you need to add to your original reservation? Is this permitted, as long as it is not booked up?Everyone has to enter with the registered member.
No issues for the 2 people (as long as one is the registered member) on a reservation of three.
If the 3rd tries to arrive later, they will not be allowed in.
You can add guests to your DVC reservation until you hit the maximum. How about if you need to add to your original reservation? Is this permitted, as long as it is not booked up?
Don't think thats allowedHow about if you need to add to your original reservation? Is this permitted, as long as it is not booked up?
Yes, but I read that as referring to the actual resort reservation. Not the number of people for the event registration.Don't think thats allowed
From the DVC MM page:
The early registration window for the October 24, November 21 and December 10 events is open to eligible Members with qualifying Resort reservations*. See the “Know Before You Register” section for more information. All Resort reservations and modifications—including changing your party size—must be completed by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on September 15, 2024. Modifications to your Resort reservation party size after September 15, 2024, will not increase your party size for the event.
I guess it wouldn't hurt to call and ask.

Yes I agree it usually is moot because it fills. That was not the case this round, however. There were still spots available Friday, and may even still be now for all I know.I don’t think they allow you to go back and modify to add. But, in almost all cases, it sells out so quickly that no spots are left to update.
It didn’t even let me downgrade mine last year when my group got smaller.

Registration details for the 2025 dates has not been announced yet.Have they announced when registration will be for the February 12th 2025 AK event? Hoping I didn't miss it...
That’s the day we are aiming for. I’m hoping it’s before Christmas so I’m not stressing about it during the holiday period…but I think at least occasionally it’s during the 30 day period.Any guesses of the 1/26/25 registration day?
Oh Boy!!!!!
I just read about the AK Moonlight Magic on the 12 Feb 2025 !!
I will be there staying at OKW.
Early entry typically begins 2 hours prior to regular park closing, so 4 pm for a 6 pm close. So, just to clarify - since AK closes at 6pm on December 10th, we are assuming that MM entry will start at 4pm and then go until 10pm (assuming the hours policies stay the same as previous MM)?
Thanks.
