Sorry to bump the thread, but I'm bored as the snow comes down... I've seen stories about a porn star apologizing because she was caught on camera during the IU-UM game. First, why would she apologize? Second, sports broadcasts have been showing attractive people in the stands for decades (heck, there was one game probably about a decade ago where a girl was caught with her hands down the pants of the guy next to her).

I don't get it. What's the big deal about a porn star attending the game?

OK, what did it show? Something more than what they show with a shot of the cheerleaders or dance team? Did the announcers say she was porn star? Did they put a graphic over her saying that's what she did? Did she do anything while on camera that wasn't fit for broadcast?

Seriously, are people getting upset because the young lady that was shown on camera happens to be a porn star? Is that really it?

Again, so what? What "improper" message does it send? Or Porn stars shouldn't go out in public? Shouldn't go to theme parks? Concerts?

The only people who MIGHT be embarrassed would be those who recognize her after a 15 second camera shot.
