Visited this week. We had a sense that Disney is just "phoning it in" when it comes to the Food and Wine Festival now. Pretty much been that way since Covid. There were some good food options, but most tasted like reheated leftovers at a super-premium price. I'm not sure the Festival is worth going to anymore if you are outside the local area.

I don't mean to yuck on anyone's yum. It's still absolutely delightful to stroll around the world and sample various goodies. I was there this weekend and my faves (of what I tried) were the flauta in Mexico and the charcuterie in Spain. And the prizes for the Remy scavenger hunt are melamine cereal bowls and adorable - 4 designs (Remy, Figment, Mickey and I forget the 4th). Hope you have a blast!

I think most of us like the idea of strolling around and trying different food items, but I can do that most months out of the year at Epcot. There's nothing that makes this stand out versus a trip to Epcot in March or April or even December

Same - last year was the first time at this festival for me and my daughter, and we had a blast. We'll be there again in November and are already making our lists of new dishes to try...and returning favorites not to miss. We just love wandering all over Epcot and trying everything!

Unfortunately, they have not offered that package for several years. Probably because that package would save a little bit of money.

Don't know if anyone here has called this out yet, but DIS reported that a new mooncake is going to be added to the China booth menu. Should be there tomorrow-sep 21... going to be at the festival tomorrow & monday and it has piqued my curiosity!

Right? I have watched WAY too many reviews and, while there are a few things that seem to have failed, a lot of it is getting some good to great reviews. I have a spreadsheet with reviews from 9 different YouTubers and I have watched even more than that. Large channels and small. I'm a bit insane.

I'd love to hear what you (or anyone else preparing for a visit) have on your list after all that research! I've been watching a lot of videos too but unfortunately haven't been organized enough to take notes and I feel like I've forgotten it all. The only thing I "know" is that Italy seems to have universally disappointed, again. I went briefly last weekend for a couple hours and in that time my highlights were the flauta in Mexico and charcuterie in Spain.

With special food kiosks pretty much all year (ie during all festivals) it does make F&W feel less special. Although I will say that the food options are the best for F&W. Last time I was there at xmas and flower & garden I remember feeling that options just werent as good as F&W. Glad I'm not the only one feeling this way.

DH and I ended up not eating too much at the festival this year, but we really liked the beef short rib from Earth Eats and DH really liked the Autumn Chili from Forest & Field. I kept hearing such good things about the sweet potato mousse and we both loved it! I don't like sweet potatoes, but DH does so hearing the good reviews pushed us to try it. It kinda reminded us of pumpkin pie in terms of flavor. It was really good. I'd definitely get it again and I hope it comes back.

There were a few things I wish we would've gotten to try like the fry flight and the fried pickle spears. I always got the fried pickles at Sci-Fi and since we weren't doing DHS this trip, this would give me my fried pickle fix. lol I also watched a few youtubers to see if there were things we considered trying that were given bad reviews across the board or something we didn't consider that had gotten great reviews. I'm glad I did because we would've wasted money on the nachos from Italy. And we ended up trying the sweet potato mousse. Also shoutout to the F&W app that someone suggested. That made it so much easier to keep track of what we wanted to try and we were able to mark what we did try.

No, they are not. The booths close when the park is scheduled to close for guests not staying at deluxe Disney resorts.

No, EEH is only available for guests staying at a Disney Deluxe or DVC resort. So when Epcot closes at generally 9:00 p.m., its only guests who are at Deluxe/DVC that can stay in the park for select attractions. The booths would close at 9:00 p.m. for everyone, no matter which resort they are staying at. Hope this makes better sense.

Location is for those items that are not a "normal" booth, like Communicore Hall or The Odyssey. Notes are things like Emile's Formage Montage. Then you can see the different YouTubers I watched.

Items I am MOST excited for?

Grilled Pork Tenderloin at Bramblewood Bites
Steakhouse Blended Burger at Flavors from Fire
Frozen Pomegranate and Raspberry Tea at Brew Wing (I can't really do alcohol and there are so few drinks I can have)
Both savory options in Mexico

That is just a tiny portion of my A list items. There are 32 A ranks items on the list, 22 B, and 6 C.

A majority of the better tasting options were desserts. However, the festival as whole was underwhelming. I'll visit during a cooler time next year and pass on the Food and Wine.
