2024 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Information and Planning Thread

And they just killed the wine? Can anyone confirm this or if the Australia wine offerings popped up somewhere else?
As of Saturday, it's open in the originally intended full booth (not a tent) on the left before you get to Mexico coming from "Future World" / opposite the Odyssey building. There are two windows (food and beverage) so I'm assuming the wines are back.

With all of the upcharges and extras of late ... I wonder if they'll revisit the F&W VIP experience (forget what they called it). You purchased for I think 3 consecutive days, got a welcome package in your resort room including a bottle of wine and maybe some wine glasses, and then at the Festival had access to special areas with seats and could actually place an order with a cast member from the surrounding booths. They also did a separate (additional $$) tour in the mornings with the executive chef talking about how they prepared for the festival. I never got to experience either but would love it (the experience, probably not the price tag).

I can see a tour coming back, but not the other one. Too much staff required.

Taste Like A Sommelier event - select afternoons Oct - Dec at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs. Blind tasting of 6 wines over 90 minutes; ~$140 per person.

Editing to add - I did one of these several years ago and George threw in a very expensive bottle(s) for tasting. No guarantees he'll do it again but every event I've attended with him has felt worth it. I'm trying to see if I can make one of the mid-week dates work.

What time do the food booths usually open? Are they open when the park opens? And do they stay open until the park closes?

The booths typically open at 11 am and remain open to 9 pm

As the previous poster said, most open around 11am. There are a few locations that are open earlier...at least that was my experience last year.

We focused on a couple of attractions in the morning before the booths opened.

Open at 11 (maybe ~10 min earlier if they're ready for the day) and close promptly at 9 as the fireworks are beginning. They do not stay open for extra evening hours or whatever they're called.

Can DDP Quick Service be used at some of the booths ? If so, is it considered a snack option since the offerings are not full meals ?

Was in EPCOT last night and surprised to see F&W merch isn't discounted yet? Think there's waiting for after Veteran's Day holiday weekend?

Well, I think I've moved into the acceptance phase that the F&W festival is "just" going to be food and wine going forward with no special events or festival extras. Only took me a few years to get here. I'm disappointed as I really enjoyed those, but it is what it is. I thought the food was quite good this year and certainly will continue to attend. Hope everyone enjoyed their trips this year!
