No one is speculating anything because no one knows anything. You'll have to decide how late you'll stay up or how early you'll get up or if you'll pull an all-nighter. There is NO WAY to know when it will drop.

Has anyone stayed at AKL? Is it rumored to be included in the FD promotion?

Yes actually , last year with FD. I loved it, we got a standard room but requested a partial Savannah view and got a great view where we were seeing animals all the time! The only drawback in my opinion is how long it takes to get to all the other parks and the buses do not come any more frequently than at moderates ( ie just because it’s deluxe does not mean more buses are allocated).

Well, great, my "change reservation" button has always been there and seemed to be working, but now it has disappeared. Also, it says "Sorry, cancellation of this reservation is currently unavailable" by my ADRs. What the??

Nobody knows what time it will drop and our reliable sources have never known that information either.

If someone gives you an exact time I wouldn't believe them.

Based on the rumors of resorts included, what would be the best value for a family of 5 (all over 3 years.. just barely darn it!)? We have only stayed as a family of 4 or with my youngest being considered an "infant" so far. We are currently booked at POR in a 5 person room during rumored promotion dates and I can't come up with a situation where free dining would save us money because I've heard value suites will be excluded. Staying in a deluxe is appealing if the cost difference was small.

Love AKL. The only thing I had a problem with is that the bus stop is at the bottom of a hill. The first floor of the resort but the lobby,hence the entrance, is on the second floor. At the end of the day it was a tough crawl up the hill. But, I am 63 years old---the kids didn't even notice. We actually had a pool view room and it was beautiful. The rooms are not as big as the Poly or Contemporary but the resort is wonderful. Loved Boma and the counter service place has some decent food. If you can get AKL I would take it.

So I am out of the free dining mix...I was silly enough to buy the 8/2 rumor, even though I've done a lot of free dining and knew how ridiculous it would be for them to do it then. It's amazing how desire trumps common sense....Son is in college and can't miss even a day, so we either go without him or go in August anyway with only the small discount.

Now that I have gone through all the stages of grieving , I went to change our 8 night trip to a 6 night to be able to afford it and found I can't modify my reservation, even though I am outside the free dining window. The whole site seems to be ready for all of you! Congrats in advance for those of you lucky ones who will be able to eat (and drink!) to your heart's content. I hope to be back among your ranks in the future!

I did not speculate how much farther after 12 Eastern, just it will be Eastern time zone. I will stay up all night again, grateful I am just an hour behind Disney time.

This is happening to me too even though it's always been there and working fine. Not panicking. Will do what I need to to attempt to get FD in the mroning

Speculation/rumors indictated no FD at Riverside, but you never know for sure until it drops. IF it is available for FD it almost certainly would only be August/September.

If CBR is in FD this year, some of its rooms sleep 5 so it might be a good option.

When you open the window and "Change reservation" is not there, click close then reopen and it will appear. Magic!
