YAY! Join the excited/nervous/terrified club! :-)

Blah....I was supposed to run a 10K for proof of time on Saturday. It got postponed due to hurricane Matthew and was rescheduled for December. Thank goodness runDisney is very generous with their date range. The last chip timed 10K race I ran was April 2015!

Oh no... stay safe!! Also, that seems like a long postponement, but a good training run for princess! :-)

FYI -- I've seen some chatter about the runDisney New Balance sneakers being sold in NB outlet stores this week, for ~$40-50. I was already planning to swing by our local outlet tonight, so I might take a peak :-)

On the bright side - it'll be a bit cooler in December and you can run when it's not so humid/hurricane-ish?

Stay safe! :)

That is awesome! I unfortunately am no where near an outlet :(
On a random note, does anyone know if the rD new balance shoes come in wide width? I many times wear a wide in running shoes...

I found some travel providers that still have bibs and am debating about registering but does anyone know if I register through the travel provider can I use the ticket that I have to purchase with the package towards getting an AP?

I believe you can, but probably best to confirm with the travel provider you will potentially use to make sure!

If anyone lives in CT - the tanger outlet in Westbrook, CT has them. I just got a pair! They had mostly 9 and 10 for women (I got the only small size 6.5). They had the white, black and the blue cinderella ones. I got the white since it was the only one in my size. She said this is their third shipment of them - every week they have a new shipment. I'm going to go back next week to see if they have the cinderella ones. No kids though.

Just had a great remix running weekend in Vancouver - scored a 1:18:30 10K on Saturday and a 2:53:14 half marathon yesterday. Both PR's!

Just updated my POT for my race registration - it's getting down to the wire to get a good proof of time for corral placement. Wish it was still 3:15 and not 2:45 - but I am getting closer to the magic number the more I practice!

I hate that they made that change. I don't know what the reasoning was behind them doing that. :sad2:

So my training has gone to the wayside with my father passing away, another family emergency and then being sick for the past 3 weeks. I'm starting to get better but haven't done any training for the past 1 1/2 months. I have a 10k this Saturday that I was going to use for my POT, but if my pace is outside of what Disney requires, should I even bother? Thanks!

Yes ... go ahead and submit what you have!

Based on talk over on the wine & dine thread and on facebook it seemed if you put an estimated time under the 2:45 (use McMillan calculator for your 10k to get half time) you needed to have that proof to back it up. But if you put estimated over the 2:45 they didn't even look at proof of time and corralled you based on your estimated. Someone can chime in and correct me if I got it wrong but I think this is how I read people's findings.
