I keep checking and hoping.Nothing on the Canadian or Brazil websites yet (sometimes they have gotten the current year offer earlier than US)

Well I guess if you immediately booked and put your deposit on it then that means that Chase gave you your card number there on the spot? I did not know you could get the number from Chase over the phone, but as long as you have the card number, expiration date, and security code then I don't see any reason you would not be able to take advantage of an early release since if you have those then they would not know whether you actually have the card in hand or not.So, I signed up for the DV yesterday and immediately booked and put my deposit on with the Disney Visa, but I don't have the physical card in hand. Am I considered part of the DV crowd if my deposit is with my new visa, but I have no card yet?
Can you tell me what the crowds were like, that's when we will be there and I don't have the ability to time travel. Yet.
(Said totally tongue in cheek, I'm sure we all figured you meant 2015).
The UK offer in 2017 seems to only be blacked out over Spring break and other than that is good from January 1st all the way through November 30th 2017. Pretty sweet deal, maybe we should move to UK to get FD anytime, lolI keep checking and hoping.
We bought airfare, so we are set on the week we have to go. (sept 24-oct1). Either we get free dining or we will take the room discount and I'll cancel some of my ADRs. Even with free dining, I will be canceling some of my ADRs, I just haven't decided which yet. Right now I have:
Cinderellas royal table dinner
Sci Fi theater Lunch
Yak and Yeti Lunch
Tusker house lunch
Garden Grill dinner
Liberty tree Lunch
Be Our Guest Dinner
Akershus Royal Banquet breakfast and Dinner
Minnie's dinner at Hollywood and Vine
The Plaza lunch

. What will we do? We will obsessivly wait for the 180 mark to get that BOG ressie or Cindy's or (insert you favorite hard to get ADR here)I have had the same thought! Talk about dining and fast passes and airfare....but doesn't seem quite as fun haha!
yup , me and my buddy, BUT since I work till 9pm plus 1 hour drive home, staying up till midnight is easy...Haha - I was thinking the same thing! Perfect avatar.
My situation is different than the PP's, but I applied and was approved for the Disney Visa on Monday. I called tonight to ask for the card number - they said their policy is that they won't give the number out over the phone (which makes sense). Luckily we have another DV in the family already.Well I guess if you immediately booked and put your deposit on it then that means that Chase gave you your card number there on the spot? May be a dumb question, but who is Len Testa?So... Len Testa just posted on twitter that free dining would likely open for Disney Visa tomorrow morning...

Somebody may have said that, but I love, appreciate, and trust the crowd calendars. I compare three of them and go with what is common between them, or if they all disagree I go with the one I trust the most. I've never been steered wrong. I went in Sept 2016 during F&W (something like the 15th-19th?) and following the crowd calendars, I was able to convince 3 Disney-haters that there is a way to beat the crowds. In fact at one point we were able to walk on Expedition Everest 3 times in a row at about 2pm, and we were on a virtual continuous ride at Space Mountain because we were basically the only people there one night. We went six times in one hour. There was FD going on during our trip. I'm not sure what effect the economy had on crowds.
Very interesting, co-author of the unofficial guide seems like a pretty good sourceSo... Len Testa just posted on twitter that free dining would likely open for Disney Visa tomorrow morning...
