2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: September 14 - November 14, 2016

Got the Parisian Afternoon on 10/8 and the Beer seminar on 10/5 with my DVC discount. :jumping1:
 
Just booked the Parisian Breakfast. CM initially told me only seminars, demos and signature dining events were available for early booking with the Disney Visa. I asked her to double check on the Parisian Breakfast (thanks to advice on the Disboards ) and was able to get a reservation.
 
Well I did it. Booked PFTS Wine View on 10/8 and Parisian Breakfast that morning.

My agent was better than I expected. We had some problems with the connection and her spelling out my name but once that was done I booked.

Done. I decided not to do any weekday events due to some confusion on when I might be able to go. May have to do some juggling of my schedule :)
 

Got right in on the Chase number and was told we could not book Party for The Senses. Guy argued with us. I continued to hold on the Disney Dining number and was able to booked reserved seating for the 10/22 Party for The Senses. Again one hand not knowing what the other hand is doing. Typical Disney.
My CM asked ME if they were booking PFTS today. I told her that I sure hoped so!
 
I had about an 18 minute wait on the Chase line. The CM first said only demos, but when I told her the Parks Blog said different, she checked again. I got the Parisian breakfast 9/24!!!! She checked a couple times, but the Mediterranean wasn't loaded yet. She looked it up by day and time, so might want to have that ready.
 
Also, no premium package in the system "yet." But she says it could still be added. Which is a whole new level of crazy for these F&W bookings.

Nope, the first year they offered this is was well after initial booking before they even decided it was an option.... and then it had more changes between booking and delivery LOL!

just tried online and can only see where you can book GA PFTS

Just a heads up...

You cannot use a gift card or Disney Visa REWARDS card when you book online. It only accepts a credit card. I guess I will be calling...

My agent was adamant that you had to use the Chase Disney Visa Card.

Does anyone know if something is SOLD OUT now, whether that's JUST for Disney VISA or for ALL early booking (VISA/TIW/DVC/AP)?

NO! This happens every year . "Sold Out" means "the allotment for today is gone" There will be another allotment on Thursday and it's much bigger!
 
Thanks to those who posted that booking was available online for many events. I was able to get the What's Cooking With event I wanted. Hope everyone else had/has good luck! I much prefer the online experience vs being on hold!

Agreed - got to love the Disboards! I just wish all my events were booked online - I am done with 3/4 things and just waiting on a signature dinner. 35 min into a "45 min" hold.

PS thanks for keeping me company/busy while on hold!
 
I got so excited about booking online that I booked GA for PFTS. I hope I can cancel it because I need RS!!
 
If you are still on line. Way back in the beginning of this thread someone gave hints but....

1. Know the exact "legal" name of the event. It's not the breakfast in France, it's Parisian Breakfast for example
2. Know the exact start time. It's not Saturday morning, it's Saturday morning at 9 am
3. Know the exact location. Chefs de France

If you can give them that and your CM has never booked it this will allow them to find it quicker!

(By they way PFTS Wine View Lounge is a 6:45 start!)
 
Got right in, was able to book PFTS with reserved seating for 10/22 and 10/29, French Family Meal Traditions on 10/23 and 10/30, Parisian Breakfast on 10/22, Flying Fish Signature on 10/27. Was told as people have reported that the Italy events are not available yet to book (French yes, Italy no, who can figure this stuff out). Mediterranean Pairing at Spice Road also not available yet. CM checked to see if anything else opens up at 9AM today for DVC, AP, TIW and after being on hold for a good amount of time was told no.
 
Ditto here, so glad I checked here at 3:50am!!! (west coast person here) and saw dis peeps were booking online. I booked Robert Irvine, 2 Bev Seminars and 2 culinary Demos. Now still on hold for 36 minutes and counting of my estimated 60 minute wait so far. Still needing a tequila lunch, italian reg. lunch and the reserves PFTS seating. Girls trip for 8 of us!!! woo woo
