2016 Bounce Back offer - summer blacked out

Hi all,

I called the future stay offer and got the BounceBack offer that just started for 2016.

It is free dining from May 31 - October 1 2016. Black out days are June 8 - August 25th - all summer

Hotel Exclusions: The usual suspects Grand Floridian Villas, Poly Villas, AMA Mermaid Room...

I'm so bummed that August is shut out, we stay every August and I was counting on a Bounce Back for next August. Even the ressie operator I spoke to said she was surprised all of August was pretty much excluded.

We won't be able to book this since our kids are back at school and Fall doesn't work for us in general.

Oh well - so much for being able to book for next summer.

I'm wondering why Disney blacked out all of summer in their future stay offers - any ideas why?

We stayed last year from 8/5 - 8/12/2014, and our BB offer was for free dining this year, but the dates didn't even start until 8/20/15, but it went through December, so it's adding the first week of June for 2016, but taking away Oct/Nov/Dec. Interesting.

Thanks for sharing what the new BB is. It was still for this summer/fall when we were there a couple weeks ago.

I would imagine that occupancy is up and Disney doesn't need to offer free dining during the majority of the summer because of that.

I called from AKL last week and the bounceback for the exact same dates next year (7/20-7/26) was free dining. We didn't book it because we are doing universal next year, but I did have them price it out just in case it was too good to turn down (it wasn't).

I called the future stay offer at 407 939 1922 and spoke to a different operator - she said the same exact thing the other operator said June 8 - August 25 is blacked out of the bounceback.

I asked why - she said it's probably because summer occupancy is up.

Thanks for letting us know. I was hoping that this year might be different but we've never been able to book the BB offer. I'm a teacher and the only time we can go is in the the summer. We usually choose early August (we leave in 4 days ) This year we are going later than usual and I have to be back at work 2 days after we come home.

I would say just not offered yet, this deal ends Oct. 1, i'm sure by the late Fall they will have a new offer & dates

We are going in Sept. (13-19th) and I was hoping to score a BB for when we go back Dec. 2016... does this mean the BB offer will be the same on our trip? when do they usually change?

I am hoping that is true. We are going oct 27 this year, but hoping for November 2016 free dining, so maybe while we are there they will have the Nov/Dec free dining bounce backs available.

I'm on the other end of this spectrum. Being from the south my kids' school get out at the end of May and they go back in August earlier than I guess some schools in the other parts of the country. This has always made booking a free dining bounce back very difficult without taking them out of school, so I am thrilled that they are offing it this year from May 31st- June 7th.

That's what I was going to say, I didn't think it included summer last year.

This is also great for those of us in the north east. The first day of school for NYC public schools is the Wednesday or Thursday after Labor Day. (Teachers return the day after Labor Day) We do not get out for the summer until the end of June.

So this bounce back allows us to take advantage of free dining and low crowds.

I agree we took both kids out of school last fall Labor Day week for free dining and it was a great week to go, however having them miss even 4 days made it tough. With our oldest going into high school fall of 2016 I have really been trying to figure out how to make this work for next year! Beyond thrilled with the dates released. And while the early June crowds are not as great as the after Labor Day crowds we have gone in early June before and it's wasn't terrible. Glad to see that this will work for both school schedules

What if you arrive June 4th 2016 and stay for 8 nights? Will you get free dining for the length of stay?
