2015 merchandise

Does anyone "in the know" have info on what Disney does with the unsold 2015 merchandise now that 2016 has arrived? Can you find some of it in the "discount" Disney stores around Lake Buena Vista/Kissimmee? Do they donate some of the 2015 clothing to poor countries? Just wondering.

I was at Disney World the week of Christmas and I had a really hard time finding any merchandise dated 2015. They had tons of 2016. Finally I was able to find 2 different magnets. That's it. So I'm not sure having lots of leftover merchandise is even an issue.

It's available at the Disney Store outlet stores in Orlando. There is also a store for CMs on property that is similar to an outlet and they also have it there. I was at the Vineland outlet and the CM store with my friend who is a CM at the beginning of January and neither location had a ton of dated merchandise, but there was some. I'm sure that there is more than what is there left, but I do know that some of it ends up at those places.

Last week there were TONS of 2015 hats, hoodies, caps, etc. at the Disney outlet at the premium outlet mall. Super cheap!

There is a crap ton of 2015 Disneyland stuff at the disney outlet store in wisconsin dells

I know the Disney Character Premiere stores have them for a while. When the one around here was open I got a 2013 basketball in early 2014 and they had some other '13 stuff there too. So if you can find one of those stores they probably have some stuff

I was at Cast Connection (the CM store) just this week and there was quite a lot of 2015 merch, at least in my opinion. I bought a few of the pin starter sets to use for trading.

Ya, I was looking for 2015 and Christmas merchandise the last 2 weeks of December at WDW and there wasn't hardly anything. Disappointing. We did find lots of stuff at the Premium Outlet store. Glad we had a rental car to go offsite!

Wow, I'm shocked to hear there's so much at outlets, since, like others have said, we couldn't find hardly anything with 2015 on it in December!

We were there in the middle of December and found NOT ONE THING that was 2015 dated. We searched high and low.

IMO dated merchandise gets moved to the outlets too early!
And not nearly enough Christmas / holiday pins are available!
Yea, I could buy from Ebay, but that doesn't add any fun to my trip
All I kept hearing, a week before Christmas day, was 'sold out a long time ago'.
Glad I got my 2015 photo album at the outlet.
