2014 Wish List

1. New England - stops in US (Cape May, Boston, etc.)
2. Other Hawaii options

I'm hoping for more west coast options. It would be great if one of the ships could do some more exciting options instead of the same old Mexican and Caribbean ports. How about a transpacific option? Maybe Vancouver to Tokyo with a Tokyo Disney option? (both Princess and Celebrity do a similar itinerary at the end of the Alaska season) Then maybe a Tokyo to Hong Kong cruise (with Disney add on options of course!) and a return from Hong Kong to Hawaii. And do some of these during times when school's out, please!

An itinerary out of Galveston that includes Castaway Cay!! :lovestruc

I am with you on that - kids were so excited to find out we were going on a cruise and that we didn't have to drive 12 hours to get to the port, but really disappointed to find out no Castaway Cay! But I do guess it would be sort of out of the way!

Cruises out of Galveston start in September!!:cheer2:

Yup, I'm on the Feb 1, 8 night. Since this is the 2014 wish list I will be happy with anything out of Galveston in 2014. CC is way to far from Galveston in my opinion. There would be no other good ports to stop at.

For 2014 ... something involving Hawaii in the summer. One way from Vancouver would be great! (My parents think a family trip to Hawaii would be the ideal 40th wedding anniversary celebration.)

For 2015 or beyond more cruises out of NYC to anywhere would be awesome!

Oh we are the week after you - leaving on February 9! So excited it is close - just six hours for us - so you are right anything in 2014 would be great!

More out of Galveston would be great.:cloud9:

I would also like to see some more Hawaii round trips during the summer.:dance3:

Lets get to the other side of the equator!
South Pacific.
Fiji, Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia!
In our winter, base out of Sydney and go all over the place!

Tokyo WOULD be awesome! :thumbsup2

When do the 2014 cruises come out?

I would like to see them get rid of Costa Maya which is such a worthless stop and add something like Belize instead. Even add back Key West on the Fantasy instead of Costa Maya. I really dislike that they are doing Costa Maya on their Western now. Southern Caribbean would be a nice addition as well.

I wish they used the Disney Dream on longer itineraries. Such a large ship with so much to do is being wasted (imho) on such short outings.

I so agree with you. 3 days on such a large ship seems ridiculous. I know it s doing some 5 day sailings. They really should consider alternating it with 5, 6, 8 or longer day cruises. Maybe throw in a 4 day every now and then for those that just ant afford the longer trips.

Wish list
Disney Magic
1. NYC - Sea Day - Bermuda (2 days) - Sea Day - NYC (5 nights)
2. NYC - Boston - Halifax - St. John - Sea Day - NYC (5 nights)
3. NYC - Sea Day - Bermuda - Sea Day - Port Canaveral - Castaway Cay - Sea Day - Sea Day - NYC (8 nights)
4. NYC - 6 Sea Days - Southampton ((London)A Transatlabtic for those who
can't take the 14 nights of the repositionings
5. so, after a crossing, Southampton to the Baltics any number of 7 night itineraries

Disney Wonder
1. Galveston - Belize - Sea Day - Key West - Nassau - Castaway Cay -
Sea Day - Galveston
2. Los Angeles - Sea Day - Seattle - Vancouver (2 days) - Sea Day - Los Angeles (7 nights)

Disney FANTASY
Continue with the "bread and butter" Eastern / Western itineraries, broken up with some 5 - and 9- night blocks. The 5 nights could be a mix of "double dips" and ones that add St. Thomas, Key West or similar to Nassau/CC.

Disney DREAM
Same for the 3- and 4- nights that DCL started with - it's expected of them. BUT - also throw in some of those 5 - nighters, to broaden the appeal.

I agree with other posters, that once the contracts in Port Canaveral release the larger ships, one of them should do longer itineraries that allow guests to fully utilize the amenities. Our 3-nights on the DREAM were a joke - and we PLANNED our time aboard. The first-time DCL cruiser, who I would think is the target for those cruises, wouldn't have a chance. But, give 'em a taste, they'll be back, I guess ( funny, that's all that the "pusher man" did, right?)

Sorry to go on so long, and going beyond just the "where I want to see them". I just love coming up with alternatives in the egotistical belief that DCL does in fact somehow look at these fan sites.

Short answer, DCL - BERMUDA:rotfl2:

Love all of these ideas . These would be awesome. I can speak from personal experience that we love all these places. Let's hope for 2014.

Shorter Galveston itineraries. If they are only going to be here during the school year, give us some long weekend 4 and 5 night cruises like Carnival does out of Galveston. As a teacher, I can't take off a whole week for a 7 night cruise, but I could do a Thursday to Monday. They could do the longer 6-8 night itineraries during the holidays and the spring break months.

Ditch Nassau and go to Freeport instead.

More school-break sailings and not-school-break-but-shorter sailings from Los Angeles. 7 or 14 nights is just too hard to do with kids in school, and west coast Disneyland APs need shorter cruises with less financial risk to get hooked on the DCL brand.

Also want the Baltics back. That's the only itinerary where I care about the location as much if not more than the ship itself or departure port.
