2014 Wish List

If we're gonna dream, let's dream big.

How about a 'round the world' Disney resort cruise? Start in LA, with a pre-stay at the original Disneyland. Then board a Disney ship going through the Panama Canal, with a stop at Cape Canaveral to see WDW. Then off to Europe with an included stop at Disneyland Paris. Now go through the Med and Suez Canal and over to Asia to stop in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Then back to LA.

I know, it would take months! But I'd *love* to do that... sigh...
You missed the most import port of call. CASTAWY CAY!!!!!

I am hoping they head back to NYC and have a Bermuda itinerary. Also, another itinerary would be Canada/NE.

I know they did a NE/Canada cruise this year, but it would be nice if they had actual stops in NE (Boston, Newport, Maine, etc), before heading up to Canada.

Sigh

If only DCL would seriously look at these great suggestions and implement some for the upcoming 2013 Q4 trips for the Magic and 2014 seasons. They should never limit their options. Walt never did!

The wonder out of LA to places that are warm during the summer, San Fransisco, San Diego, Mexico or Hawaii (not interested in Alaska)

Would love a NY cruise one way to CC a few islands perhaps, then end in PC so we can to DW for a week. I know there is some rule they can not do one ways but, I don't care this is MY wish list.:lmao:

A DCL cruise out of Boston to Bermuda:goodvibes

Longer than 3 days on the Dream, would not even bother for 3 days. Mix it up a bit Disney 3, 4, 5 & 7 day do not be so one dimensional!

Great ideas you are all coming up with. Two of my favorite:

1. Alternating cruises between New England/\ & Canada itineraries and a Bermuda itinerary.

2. Asian and/or Australian/New Zealand cruises.

Oh, I have always dreamed of doing one of those 109-day around the world voyages you see on the other cruiselines! :surfweb: That would be so awesome if one ticket wasn't the price of a small house :rotfl:

2014? I want DCL to finish announcing the rest of 2013's itineraries!

I would like to see them get rid of Costa Maya which is such a worthless stop and add something like Belize instead. Even add back Key West on the Fantasy instead of Costa Maya. I really dislike that they are doing Costa Maya on their Western now. Southern Caribbean would be a nice addition as well.

I agree that Costa Maya is a "worthless stop" if you never leave the port area. However, I loved my excursion to the Chacchoben Ruins from Costa Maya (not with DCL). Too bad DCL has such short port times in Costa Maya on their western cruises on the Fantasy - which almost necessitates doing a ship excursion rather than a privately booked one.

Me too! Nancy, when do you think these will be released? My guess is within the first 2 weeks of April. Tired of waiting! Have you heard any more on this?

Or a large house! :scared1:

The Fantasy's maiden voyage is next weekend, so I HOPE DCL will make their announcement soon after that!

For 2014 - I don't think there is anything DCL could do that would interest me. I am tired of the Bahamas and Caribbean, and any really good itinerary would be priced like it's Crystal Cruise Line!

Too true :sad2:

I so agree with you. 3 days on such a large ship seems ridiculous. I know it s doing some 5 day sailings. They really should consider alternating it with 5, 6, 8 or longer day cruises. Maybe throw in a 4 day every now and then for those that just ant afford the longer trips.

I so agree with this and for another reason - We have a 12 hour drive to get to PC - we really don't want to make that drive to go on a 3 or 4 day cruise!! We really wanted to go on the Dream but just couldn't bring ourselves to drive that far - too short! But we are so so so so happy with Galveston - only 5 short hours - Yeah - can't wait!!!:cool1:
