2014 Christmas Gift idea list for TEEN GIRLS

. I think this year DD16 will get an Alice in Wonderland (the musical she is in this year at school) ornament, and DD13 may get Captain America (Marvel obsessed). There are a couple of shirts at Disney Store I'm considering. Beyond that I'm not sure.

When my daughter did Alice in Wonderland she was Alice so I bought her a precious moment Alice in wonderland figurine. They are really cute!

Last year I got my dd a nice charm bracelet from the jeweler. For her birthday and Christmas she gets a charm that signifies something significant that year. It is turning into a nice collector item/memory keeper and grandparents are thrilled to have a very specific item to get.

My DD is 13 and she really doesn't want anything specific! "Just stuff". I'm having a really hard time thinking of things. She loves Pooh Bear so I'm thinking a Tsum. She got my DH's iPhone when he upgraded so perhaps an iTunes card? I'm trying to keep it small this year to save for a trip Spring 2015.

Thanks for the ideas!

My DD now wants tickets to a One Direction concert. They are finally coming to our city! Ugh!

My DD is 13. If she likes the apps and music on the iphone, than I would definitely get her an Apple gift card. Is she into make up or nails? My DD likes ELF products, I try to get the $1 ones at Target, and she will never turn down nail polish or make up items, expensive or not. Since you are saving for a trip, maybe things for the trip, a gift card, travel items she still needs? Food items she likes? Ask her to point out or write down or cut out things she'd want. That's so great she likes Pooh. At least items with him on it are easy to find.

Ugh DD13 is at a weird age. She's trying to become girly with lip gloss, mascara, and nail polish but at the same time she still enjoys putting together legos but I don't want to invest a bunch of money into them since she's 13!

Really hoping to get some good ides from this thread.

That was a gift for my DD the last two Christmases! Was fun as I let her bring a friend to both concerts..Your DD will love it I am sure. Be ready for presale!

OMG....That was my daughters Xmas present lat year. We just went a few weeks ago with a friend and stayed at Great Wolf Lodge. She enjoyed the concert but I literally could not hear after that concert for awhile....It was so loud....:rotfl2:
5 Seconds of Summer opened for them and guess what's on her list this year....Yup, 5 Seconds of Summer tickets. Just bought those a week ago and I'm making my husband take her to this one.....LOL

Go for the legos! Keep the boxes and instructions. They are an investment that triples on value. I have made SO MUCH MONEY selling DD16 older sets. She always gets a lego set for Christmas. This year I am getting her the Simpsons one....

We bought 5 SoS tickets for her birthday, next August, lol!

Gonna try for 1D on the presale dates. We saw them last year in Chicago. The thousands of screaming and crying girls were louder than the music!!

Presale for 1D tickets was available today with a Citi Card Presale Code (1st 6 #'s of account) on Ticket Master. Santa just got for my girls!!!:banana:

Yay!! I really need a Citi card! I have to wait until Wednesday for the Facebook presale. Doesn't really sound like a presale if its on Facebook, lol!!!

My husband checked out the VIP packages that went on sale today. Needless to say, the prices were a shock to him!

Figures we've always thrown away the boxes. But we have every instruction booklet!

Thanks! Like other posters have noted it's a weird age. She still plays her DS and Wii but doesn't want more games.
I did remember something I got for her birthday that folks might be interested in. Birch Box. It's a subscription box that's pretty reasonably priced. I got a year subscription. She can change the stuff based on what she wants. For now it's hair and nail stuff. I'm sure it will be make-up soon:scared1:

For anyone whose DDs are as obsessed with their nails as mine is, I found a bunch of different Essie Sleek Sticks at DollarTree this week. Every one of the 3 DollarTree stores that I checked in my area had them (I just happened to be near 3 in my travels this week), although one store had a much better selection than the other 2. They are sort of like nail wraps but reviews say they are more like "appliques" than they are like nail polish. Whatever that means. Reviews say they don't last very long, but for a buck who cares if they last only 3-4 days instead of 2 weeks. DD wouldn't leave them on for longer than that anyway - she changes polish every few days.

I also found some Sally Hansen Nail Salon Effects wraps at the DollarTree I was in today. DD really likes those. I think they had 6 different styles, although I only liked 3 of them. They also had some Mabelline Nail Tattoos, a few different styles. I know nothing about these, but grabbed one for grins and giggles!

Stocking stuffers scored! :santa:

Anyone ever done boodlebox.com or candyclub.com? These are monthly subscription boxes of fun little things for girls and then candy. I think my DD would really like getting something from either of these each month, but would love to hear some feedback.

I have not heard of it but hope someone else has. I think my DD would love the candy one! thx for posting. 35offjs2b16 is 35 percent off but shipping is 6 per month...so 6 month supply is 17.95 per month

Was doing the laundry and realized how much DD15 likes mismatched socks. We picked up some from Little Missmatched in DTD and she loves. Something for the stocking.
