Teena - Hope you had a fabulous cruise!
Dee - How are the Hawaii plans coming along?
We leave late Easter night for our "do over" Universal trip.
I REALLY need a vacation - it has been a stressful year!
It feels wierd not to plan as much for this trip as I do for our Disney trips.
I told DH this is the only Spring break we will ever have with the younger kids. Usually we can never go anywhere Easter break because DH is a CPA and it's usually still tax season. Most Easter's DH can't even break for Easter dinner.
Wish us luck!
As you will see, I just posted the pictures from Teena's cruise.
Planning for our summer trip is going VERY SLLLLOOOOWWWWLLLY! I really haven't done much and we are under 3 months out.
Have a fantastic trip!
That August Dis Meet is going to be something else (wishing for a non-flat Dee and a non-flat Nettie to make it perfect!).
Wish us luck!
Cruise was wonderful and now Jeanne is here. Two weeks of fun! I head out to Jeanne's to help in school and of course to spend time with Princess Lily on May 6th. I try to always be there for Mother's Day and Jeanne's birthday (5/14).
I wish too that Nettie and Dee would be there in person for the August Dis Meet!!!
You (and you) and me, both!
Hi, does anyone know if the life guards still do the Cupid Shuffle dance when they change over?it's the high light of DD and DS pool day.
Also a question from DD(15) Do you think Frozen will be a movie on the beach in August?
TIA x
I think so. This is a picture I took in July.
My mom and I were thinking about adding a park day to our tickets once we are there. Does anyone know if we are able to do this even if we didn't buy our tickets directly through Disney? We bought them through a package deal with Southwest Airlines. Thanks in advance for any info!
I don't know if the rules have changed recently, but in the past it has always been the case that once you have used your tickets to enter a park, even from another distributor, you would be able to add a day to your ticket. The Southwest package also may be Disney issued tickets. Best place to look for an answer is on Cheshire Figments ticket sticky in the Theme Park forum.
Just booked BC, Aug 6-14th, stayed at YC before but not BC. Have yet to tell my kiddos, super excited.
Wondering about my DH and DS going to Universal for the day, any ideas on how they would get there?
Also full balcony is a big priority.... help

back!
I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list
I know a private car would be around $100 plus tip round trip, so if the cab fare is $30 each way, that seems the way to go. Mears offers a daily shuttle service, but I have heard mixed reviews, plus it is a per person charge so I think you are better off with the cab.
As indicated above, list a full balcony as your first and only request. When you check-in, ask if your request was met, and if not, ask if there is a room available that has a full balcony. If you are willing to move to a room with a full balcony later in the trip, mention that too.
Hi there, and a Happy Easter to all who celebrate
I saw the thread on the first page regarding pizza but I was wondering if it is possible to either bring pizza or have pizza delivered to the pool? We were thinking of having a relaxing night one evening with no parks and just hang out at the pool. I thought it would be fun to have pizza (and beers but maybe that's pushing it) but I wasn't sure if that is feasible! Thanks in advance
Someone asked this fairly recently, I think earlier on the thread, and I believe the answer was no problem. I'm not sure about the pizza actually being delivered to the pool, but once you have it, it is ok to bring food into the pool area. Beer, too, I think, as long as it is not in glass. Might want to use a cooler to transport, though.
