I finally had a chance to upload the pictures from Teena's cruise on the Fantasy earlier this month. I have posted them all on the Lily Goes Live thread (click on the pink link in my signature). Here are a couple of my favorites Castaway Cay http://s657.photobucket.com/user/natebenma/media/Teena/Cruise April 2014/8.jpg.html http://s657.photobucket.com/user/natebenma/media/Teena/Cruise April 2014/14.jpg.html http://s657.photobucket.com/user/natebenma/media/Teena/Cruise April 2014/6.jpg.html

Love these pictures! Thanks Dee!

I just got an email saying our magic bands are on their way! The next 28 days need to hurry up!

Thank you all for the advice. Keeping the trip a secret is SO hard! Think I might cave for Easter:)

I have asked my TA to put the Full Balcony on my reservation, hubby will be celebrating his birthday on the 12th so that's exciting as well x

Very happy to be returning to this area, we have stayed at the YC twice before and I was sad at first that we couldn't get in there, now I am so excited the BC is beautiful!

Someone asked this fairly recently, I think earlier on the thread, and I believe the answer was no problem. I'm not sure about the pizza actually being delivered to the pool, but once you have it, it is ok to bring food into the pool area. Beer, too, I think, as long as it is not in glass. Might want to use a cooler to transport, though.

Thank you!! I follow this forum pretty religiously so I don't know how I missed it :) I appreciate your response!

Here's the question (I reposted for someone who asked on another thread) and a few responses. Back on Page 96, end of Feb.

:goodvibes

Anyone know if there are any restrictions, other than no glass, about bringing in outside food or drink poolside at Stormalong Bay?

I know people sometimes bring cans of beer in coolers down to the pool. Can you bring in takeout food from one of the World Showcase restaurants or say, a pizza delivered to the resort?

I know I've brought pizza and snacks from the Beach Club Marketplace and no-one commented :)

I've taken beer from Captain's Grille poolside. Only thing I've been advised by the lifeguards is not to get it too close to the pool.

Teena - Hope you had a fabulous cruise!

Dee - How are the Hawaii plans coming along?

We leave late Easter night for our "do over" Universal trip.
I REALLY need a vacation - it has been a stressful year!

It feels wierd not to plan as much for this trip as I do for our Disney trips.
I told DH this is the only Spring break we will ever have with the younger kids. Usually we can never go anywhere Easter break because DH is a CPA and it's usually still tax season. Most Easter's DH can't even break for Easter dinner.

That August Dis Meet is going to be something else (wishing for a non-flat Dee and a non-flat Nettie to make it perfect!).

Wish us luck!

Hi Robyn! It's been awhile since I've posted! Lately off and on I have lurked to see what the latest is on my favorite forum!! Hello to Dee, Teena, DM, Ninja, YCFAN, and everyone else!

It sounds like you have a nice trip planned. The best thing at Universal parks is the FOTL when staying onsite. We loved that a few years ago. Of course we are seeing a lot of ads up here for the new Harry Potter land opening up this summer. I'm sure we'll need to get back there!

Hmmmm....DIS meet on Aug 18th?! I would love to be there...my daughter keeps begging for a mother-daughter trip this summer haha.

Next month we are headed to Hawaii. Our last four nights (first week in June) are in Oahu staying at the Aulani (first 10 are in Maui). I have never taken a trip for this long (nor this expensive! That part scares me!).

Anyway enjoy your spring break!!

Hi, does anyone know if the life guards still do the Cupid Shuffle dance when they change over?it's the high light of DD and DS pool day.
Also a question from DD(15) Do you think Frozen will be a movie on the beach in August?

TIA x

They were doing it last August!

8 days for me. :banana::banana::banana:

We have kept this trip secret from the kids this time too. I was originally going to put their MBs in their Easter baskets in the morning however now DH wants to wake them up next Saturday morning and go straight to the airport. Never done that so that might be fun!:cheer2:

DjdBrit, When are you doing your reveal and how?

It is sooo hard isn't it?!? We surprised my son 2 Easters ago with a trip to Disney. We had an easter egg hunt and the last egg had his surprise to Disney. Now he thinks the Easter bunny is going to bring that every year but little does he know we are going in June ;) We are headed to Miami first and he knows about that, but doesn't know the grand finale of our trip. I'm trying to think of ways to do the big reveal, especially since he thinks we'll be heading back to the airport but we'll be heading to Disney!

Be Our Guest! It's official. Staying at BCV Dec 15th-22nd. So excited for a week of Disney holiday magic with just me and my SO. He's not so much of a DA, but I bet he's going to have a great time. We stayed at YC for 2 nights in October last year for F&W and he had a great time! Can't wait to introduce him to all the other Magic! We're from Seattle, so December in Orlando is pretty great for us. We don't care about the weather, we're going to figure out how to make SAB our best friend. The sand under our toes after days of walking in the parks and around the world... it's going to be awesome. Now, to figure out the Seahawks schedule and a plan of where to watch the game. Hopefully the NFL will release their schedule for an Easter surprise!

We may tell them in he morning, since we are not going till Aug, holding out that long will be hard. My DS's birthday is in June so I figured he could open a gift of 2 tickets to Universal (he and DH are going for the day)and figure it out that way..... I want the kids to know as I think the planning excitment is AWESOME!

Happy Easter to everyone. Our dinner is tonight due to daughters work schedule.
