Hi all... Just took advantage of the summer sale but our favorite garden room was gone I tried calling all day and finally got through this afternoon. Good news was we could still save some cash and upgrade to Concierge Level!!! I always see people in here talking about it and it seems like a dream come true! I can't wait to find out all of the CL perks

Let us know about your experience CL. I'm hoping that if the discount extends through Oct and the Orbitz 20% discount is still in effect I want to upgrade to GV CL from just GV and would love your opinion.

Yesterday we booked our first stay at YC! My girls don't know about it. They are going to be so excited about the pool. We are checking in on August 16-August 20.
We will arrive around 6:30pm and we are just going to do a resort day in the 17th and then head to DTD.
Can someone tell me about the quick options at YC/BC? I understand there is a limited QS at BC. Should I make a table service ressie for breakfast on the 17th? Or the QS is enough? Thanks!!

Cape May has a delicious character breakfast and the Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club has a breakfast buffet, or you can order off the menu.

Hello all. We will be staying at the YC garden view, for the first time June 15-21. Changed from CBR when the summer discount came out.
This is our third year going in June, Celebrating our DDs 7th Birthday this year on the 19th

Reading all I can about the YC/BC area here on the Dis to get the most out of our vacation.
Any tips for YC first timers?? Celebrating Birthday??

Hi. I use Touring Plans and have for a few years. I find their information to be pretty accurate and very useful when planning my trip.

I am so happy to be joining this thread! I was booked at the BWI for 10 days in August but couldn't get the new summer discount applied. Switched to YC and saved $1500 off my original BWI reservation. DS13 and DD11 are BEYOND thrilled that they'll be able to swim in Stormalong Bay. This is our first foray into the "Deluxe" category and we're looking forward to a great trip from August 2-12, especially now that we've got some extra money for dining and souvenirs Woo hoo!!

Yeah!!! You will love it! My boys are close to yours in age and they love the SAB! Have fun!

I have followed EasyWDW for my last two trips (May 2013 & Nov 2013) and never had to wait more than 30 mins for a ride.

I've just checked the Disney website and Captains Grille is showing its normal dinner menu. No sign of the buffet that was there earlier

That is great!! You will love it! We are so spoiled now!

We have used Easywdw and have always had a good outcome. We have never used Touringplans though so I can't compare. Plus Josh from Easywdw makes me laugh, oh and his information is free . Hope that helps

We will be at the BC May 26 - June 3 celebrating DD's HS graduation and our 25th anniversary. 15th trip but first at the BC (DD's choice!) hoping we like it as well as CSR!!!

Awwww, June 19th, that's our older daughters birthday too, (turning 19)



Make sure you have it noted that it's her actual birthday while you're there, you never know what type of Pixie Dust you may receive. YC seems a little bit freer with theirs than some of the other resorts we've stayed at .

we're starting our vacation off next week with 4 days yc cl before meeting friends at poly cl and are excited. we've never stayed at the yc before.

it will be just myself and our 4 year old son who will be 5 in June. we're doing the deluxe dining plan and have all our dining reservations. we're also focusing our park time on what we have fastpassed because of the crowd levels. I think we'll have a decent amount of resort time. What would you all suggest? we'll do SAB and the marshmallows and movies on the beach. anything else fun? walking on the boardwalk?

My next milestone will be getting a very special package in the mail. Or is it two?

Does the old Mickey Mail packet, with the luggage tags, Magic My Way vouchers, etc. come separately from the Magic Band package, or is it all shipped together?

Just posted the other day that I finally bit the bullet on staying one night at the Beach Club after our Disney Cruise. It was a hard decision, because I wasn't sure if any discounts would come out for early August. Well, yesterday I got 25% off via the Summer Offer. I felt awesome! Then today, what arrives in the mail? A PIN! I called back and got an additional discount on top of the 25%. I feel so much better as this new price is a LOT less than what I'd originally booked for.

MBs come in a box by themselves and then the travel documents. And then the travel documents. And then the travel documents. (Yes, I have received three sets of travel documents and luggage tags!) In fact my last set came just yesterday UPS second day air!
