I have been to the GF the last 2 years during Christmas time and there is NO other place to stay.

If you will be in Disney during the Holidays DO NOT even think about staying anywhere else. It truly is amazing.

Hi, so are Gasparila and Mizners (as a bar) open today?

We are planning a monorail crawl this afternoon!

Also, which is the best bar to include in GF? Mizners, one of the pool bars? Citricos or Narcoosees bar? Looking for a drink and maybe an appetiser.

I cannot confirm yet that Mizners is back to bar form yet, but Gasparilla is confirmed. New menu and all. Will check on Mizners when I pass through today.

Also, I am thinking Narcoosees might be the more atmospheric of the bars. The pool is fun, though. Had a couple bloody Mary's out there the other day.

Was too late but thanks! Turned out that Mizners was closed (till the 22nd they said so should be open now). Ended up going to Citricos which was a bit "meh" as a bar experience but had a great afternoon / evening - started at Trader Sams (cocktails and appetisers) then Citricos (beer / wine) then Top of the World Lounge (cocktail and appetisers) then Tambu Lounge (cocktail and bread pudding!) then finally back to TOTW for Wishes.

Anyone been to see what was done at Gasparilla's?

Hi! We've eaten there twice already since it opened. I can't compare to what it was since this is our first stay at GF. They have fresh sandwiches like roast beef, turkey, and a fresh mozz with tomato and portobello mushroom. All breads are fresh now, I am told. They have flatbreads and a salad area, as well. They prepare it but you tell them what you want. I will get some pictures on my next pass through there.

Let me know if there are specific questions. It is lovely in there.

For anyone currently at the GF, I would love to see a pic of the new allergy friendly menu at Gapsie's. Wondering if they have expanded the offerings since the refurb. TIA

Anyone there now who can give us updated info on the "renovated" Gaspie's? Most of the press seems to dwell on the replacement of the drink refill station soda machines. I am hoping that this rehab included a wider range of menu options.

Can anyone post photos of new interior of Gaspys if you have an upcoming trip or are there now?
