Happy Sunday! 4 days until we return home to the Grand! This is our first stay non-Cl at GF, so we really aren't stressing over CMs as with previous trips. I am SO looking forward to walking around the resort. My only hope is that DH and I get a king bed, I really wish that was a bookable category like at the moderates. I am pretty excited to see what room we end up with!! I am anticipating crowds for Veteran's Day, especially since most of the resorts have been fully booked since I started planning. We REALLY got lucky with availability with an agency exclusive discount! Off to nap, then back to work later......2 more 12 hour shifts until my GRAND GETAWAY

What does the other side of Sago Cay building view or is there even another side besides the one that faces the Sugarloaf? Do you view the wedding pavilion or is there a garden area?

Hi all! Arriving next week. For the first time (after a few stays over a few years), we got a call today from the GF asking if we had any special room requests. I've never heard of this happening. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks!!

Oh my goodness, this makes me even more excited.......the gingerbread house. I might have to hold the tears back on Saturday! Does that sound ridiculous ?

3 glorious nights!!!!!! I changed to an earlier flight, so hopefully this time tomorrow we will be almost to FLA!

I saw that, and honestly....UGH. I love the pre-arrival planning! Universal doesn't do pre-arrival stuff but they are wonderful on-site, so IPO on site better step up their game

NOT ridiculous!!!! When you are tearing up in the lobby, look next to you and I'll be the brunette with the tall bald hubby (I'll be crying too)

Does anyone have information on the rapid refill mugs now that Gasparilla is closed such as where can you purchase them (pool bar?) and is there somewhere to fill them 24/7?

We could only get them refilled at the pool during pool hours and then at the make shift gasparillas till closing, I think it was around 11pm.

This information will have to be factored into whether or not my family and I purchases a new set. We are definitely night owls and took advantage of Captain Cooks past 11pm this past spring.

Us too!! The foundation for the house was posted earlier this week so I imagine we will see the shingles getting put on tomorrow, and it would be cool to wake up to a Christmas tree this weekend
