Wishes[/B], I hope you get to return before next August! I cannot imagine having to wait a whole year, but do get that some people have to do so.

We just booked a trip for January with the kids, but staying at WL, because my DH and I are hopefully returning to the GF adults only in late May early June, if I could bare to be there without the kids for the very first time since my honeymoon. I think I care more then they do....

Morning, GF peeps! It's been a while since I've posted, because for some reason the "Alert" on here did not do it's job to let me know new posts had been made! I had to sift thru at least 10 pages but was glad to read all the same.

Yes! Both my daughters are coming! But younger one can just come mid trip for 8 days due to work. So happy she can join us. Last time was 2 yrs ago and she came for Ft Lauderdale, Universal, and only first day of WDW before she had to leave.

I KNOW I care more than my kids do!! Yay for you, getting to go back before next summer! I'm sure we will feel like fish out of water, but booking meals at the GF and spending time there for the music might make up for it a little. We are also doing a tea for the first time ever! I'm excited about that because I love tea shops.

Grannyminnie - We're going to do the same thing, try to spend sometime over at the Grand. I hope there's a BB for my late May/June dates!!! Let me know how the tea is, nobody in my family is even a little interested.

Maxie86 - My DD is fine with it, I hope my DS gets called for court officer's academy because he wont care if he's busy doing that. Worst case scenario they come with us, as long as I am going!!!

It just got really real for me, we got our magic bands yesterday and I just thought "wow, we are really going.." It didn't sink in until those arrived! I'm getting really excited, I've always wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian and we've had tough year with some medical issues so it's been great to have something light and fun to look forward to!

HockeyMomR - Have a great time....I rarely answer questions here, I leave it to the pros, but since nobody has been around...lol. No magic band required to get into the beach pool, if the pool is open the gate is open. The only gate that needs to open and closed is by the children's splash area, its the same gate by the quiet pool, the type that you pull the top to release it open.

We didn't get luggage tags, we dont generally book packages (we use military discount tickets/room discounts or TAs) so I knew I wouldn't get them, however I have seen pictures of them on the boards and they do look cute and a sweet souvenir to have! I did get the new (to me) thinner more pliable magic bands, which will be nice since I already have one wearable (Apple Watch) on one hand, the new thinner magic band will go on my other hand with my bracelets.

Yeah, the magicbands are different than the last ones I've recieved (September 2015), they are thinner, more flexible and I didn't get my old ones out to check but they also look longer to me. I'm sure this isn't a recent change, but it's a change to me since we haven't been since last year.

I just checked with my friend who was there in January. She said hers were more flexible and thinner too. Sounds like a good change. Not that I found the old ones uncomfortable. I'm bringing dome of my old ones that I decorated!

So excited! We decided to change our 7 night Sept YC club level stay. Now doing 3 nights in a king deluxe room Sept 10 - 13, then YC water view club level Sept 13 - 17. I just couldn't pass up the RPC. Celebrating our 38th anniversary. I actually booked this several weeks ago, but I was focused on our DS's wedding. The wedding was this past Saturday, so now I can concentrate on our vacation!!
