My mil did a massage and my daughter had a mani/pedi last year. Both loved it. They just called from the room for available times and got in the following day with no problems. That was over New Years weekend which was busy too.
Thanks

I just wanted to pop over and say how excited I am for our upcoming GF stay! I'm already pre-planning another trip in my mind to see the Christmas decorations. :)

:dance3:....have a wonderful trip! Don't blame you for already pre planning...Its the next best thing to planning..lol....and WDW during the holidays is simply magical!! :wizard:

Hi everyone - first time GF guest here. Could someone please tell me if it is possible to walk between GF and Poly?

Thanks!

As grannyminnie posted, there is a nice scenic path between the GF and Poly :). It's a very pretty and relaxing walk.

There has been a lot of path chatter lately so I posted some pics of it a few pages back.(134)

Looking forward to being at the GF later this week. Yay! I have decided to treat my two daughters to a massage at the GF spa. Since they are twenty somethings I thought it would be a grown up treat for this trip. Has anyone used the spa for this? Just looking for any hints that might help.

We were there for six days over the July 4th weekend, a very busy time, and my two daughters were able to book massages through the CL concierge a day in advance with no problem.

Hi guys! A little over 90 days until we are back at the Grand! We are staying 7 nights. It'll be myself, the husband, and our daughter who will be 4.5 at the time. This trip I've scheduled an entire day off from the parks so we can enjoy the resort. We are going the last week in October, so I'm hoping it's warm enough to swim. It was too cold in December, and our daughter gazed longingly at the Alice & Wonderland splash pad! What else should we do around the resort? We are eating at 1900 and Narcoosee's during the trip. I've thought about seeing if there are any open reservations for the perfectly princess tea party. Is the regular afternoon tea appropriate for a well behaved 4.5 year old? Any ideas?

Thank you!

The Garden View Tea room would be great as long as she sits for 30-45 mins ok. They have a great a la carte menu! Check it out! An example, you can get a bowl of strawberries and whipped cream or just scones. So you could do a longer 4 course selection or just grab a dessert which would be faster.

We like to dress up for the tea room too! Its fun to get dolled up even for dd20!

I'm on the phone trying to get a reservation. They have space for the princess tea party but oh my goodness it's $333 to go. Here's hoping the regular tea room has an opening!

I know this question has been asked a million times, but I couldn't find a response in the search. DH, DD (1) and I are staying in RPC next week to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! We were married at the Wedding Pavilion. We have a standard club room booked. Can anyone suggest some room requests (or specific rooms) we should ask for? We need to have a full tub to give daughter a bath, and I'd like something that's not too far from the lounge in case one of us wants to run there while our daughter naps. I also want a location that's not too noisy. Thanks for any help! I've loved reading this thread getting ready for our trip

I would send an email to ipo with what you just said. Close to lounge, full tub and quiet.

Enjoy your trip!

Can some one please tell me what the bed set up is in the 2 bedroom villas? The website is a bit confusing. The photos seem to show the master bedroom with a king bed, the second bedroom with 2 queens and the living room with a pull down twin bed. However, the description says 1 king bed and 1 one queen bed and 2 queen size sleeper sofas and 2 twin size pull down beds. What I am specifically interested in is what is found within the second bedroom. Are there three separate beds in the second bedroom (i.e. 2 queen beds and 1 twin size pull down or 1 queen bed, 1 queen sleeper sofa and 1 twin size pull down)? Or are the two twin size pull downs found in the living room or is one in the master bedroom? I wish Disney would have better descriptions of how the bedding arrangements are set up on their website!

I have stayed in that villa. The 2nd bedroom is 2queens. The master 1 king. The living area has the sofa is a queen sleeper and under the tv the flip down twin bed. I slept in the king, queen bed and queen sofa sleeper and layed in the twin and read one afternoon. No complaints!

Anything else let me know! I have some pics if needed.

Also that description sounds like the undedicated room.(A studio with a one bedroom with door joining) However if you book a 2br you will get a dedicated room.

trishadono - thanks, but where is the second twin size pull down? The description I typed came from the website and was the same for both categories of 2 bedroom villa (standard view and lake view). It doesn't make sense that there are 2 twin size pull downs (because then the room could sleep 10 - 1 king, 3 queens and 2 twins) but it definitely says two pull downs. So is that an error or is there a pull down somewhere else in the villa other than the living room? Can you request an undedicated room if it has that extra pull down?
