So, we have a Water view.....any suggestions on the building?

We prefer a quieter location away from the hustle and bustle ....We are all healthy and can walk to where ever....

In my opinion Sago Cay is your best bet when factoring in peace and quiet.

They are doing construction in Gasparillas. Could be that. Have no idea about the other buildings.

We just experienced the new Grand View Champagne and Wine lounge--highly recommended if you like a glass of wine or champagne with a fantastic inventive charcuterie and a fantastic cheese plate. End your light meal or pre-meal with some strawberries. We will definitely be back for this one as long as it lasts. Happy to say they serve or favorite Veuve champagne too. It appears to be the same charcuterie and cheese plate from Citricos but with many open tables and no wait

Sorry to spam post....

Need some guidance on Grand Floridian Cafe also....

Menu on the WDW site is pretty sparse....

http://allears.net/dining/menu/grand-floridian-cafe/breakfast-lunch

Menu listing on AE is much more inline with what we are looking for.....

We have BOMA, but really want to be lazy an sleep in that day.......GFC would be perfect if the menu is like the one above.
Yes, this is the menu. We like the Cafe, it's so convienent and the food is good. My fav is the Shrimp & Grits on the dinner menu.

I've always loved the place. Great food, incredible ambiance and always fresh. Never had a bad meal there. Usually go the first afternoon of my trip for lunch. However the lunch menu seems to be a lot more limited then I remembered it to be. At least they were able to fix my Grand BLT sandwich.

When did they start serving dinner? Seems like in order to accommodate breakfast, lunch and later dinner, many items were cut from the lunch menu.

I want to get some answers for what they have planned for the place in the near future. Perhaps if I email the general manager she could provide more details. Don't want to be kept in the dark.
They likely won't give you many details. I don't want you to be alarmed either, this won't be anything big. It likely is something like a fresh coat of paint in some areas, replacing some lights, or something along those lines. Disney has to file a permit for anything over a certain price tag, I want to say its around $2,000.

I didn't see a pic?
sorry this site won't let me upload the pics. Just trying to share the resort printed flyers about alternative options/menus with Gasparillas closed. Coffee and breakfast at Mizners, or coffee and some light options at the Beaches pool bar. Will try the pics again tomorrow.

I have an iPhone 6. Sometimes by simply screenshoting my pic it will work to upload. Good luck!

This is a good thing to try, thanks! I always get "file too large" message from my iPhone, but the same pics post easily from my iPad.

It still said file too large when I tried the screen shot, so I'll try uploading them in partial cropped pics lol.

Thank you so much!!! Do you happen to have a photo of the 'to go' menu? Is it the same as the regular menu? Is Mizner still serving lounge food in the evenings?

Where is this located? I don't see anything on the website. Is there a 21 and over restriction?

I appreciate your info and helping us all out!
