I need to update our dates in the BOG list. We've decided to do a split stay. We will be starting at the poly and the BC 8/31-9/5. Still very excited !
Will do!
Thanks for the update. Sounds like an awesome split-stay.
We were at the YC club level last weekend. The lounge was definately open when we got back at around midnight Saturday night. I know there were softdrinks in the fridge. But I'm sorry I didn't notice about coffee & snacks.
Thanks so much for letting me know.
Thanks to the Spring discount we will be staying BC CL for two nights before our first cruise on the Dream. Very excited to go back to BC. The refurb rooms are so pretty!

back!
I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.
Staying at Yacht Club in Feb.
What is the best way to have water/soda shipped? I have
Amazon prime and Costco membership if it helps. I know it is a convention resort and the resort charges a fee. What fees does the resort charge? Is the Hess station at the Boardwalk close enough to walk? Anyone have any experience with Garden Grocer or WeeGoShop?
Thanks in advance!
I think a case of Dasani water 24 pack (12 oz bottles) is about $16.00 at the BC Marketplace. Soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite) is $8 for a 6 pack. Not the most economical way to get the drinks, but certainly the most convenient.
You may want to consider getting a delivery from Turner Drug. See below.
Hess is "walking distance" and posters have suggested bringing a rolling suitcase to transport cases of water/soda.
Garden Grocer/WeGoShop have either minimum orders and/or delivery fees, but if you are getting other things, this might be the way to go.

Here is what I have about water delivery on Page 1 (FAQ Post 13).
What is the Best Way to Get a Case of Water (or other items) for Your Room?
The Yacht & Beach Club is a Convention resort so items that are shipped their by UPS or FedEx will be delivered to the convention mailing center and will be subject to a charge based on the weight of the item.
Because of this, it is often better to send items directly to resort via United States Postal Service (see instructions in the Other Useful Info Post)
I'm still working on this, so if anyone has suggestions or recent info about the prices of a case of water from the following sources, please let me know.
What are the options for getting a case of water or other items to your room, along with the advantages and disadvantages of each method???
Beach Club Marketplace (no delivery fee),
Dasani 24 pack, $16- as of Sept 2013
Soda, 6 pack (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite), $8
Hess Gas Station near BW resort (no delivery fee, but must walk or drive there)- walk through the BW parking lot and it's just across the street from the entrance gate for BW. It is a bit of a hike, so if you decide to walk over there for water or other beverages, we suggest you take an empty rolling suitcase to make the transportation easier
Walmart/Target- must drive there, or take cab

$7.50 delivery fee to the Beach or Yacht Club
Pricing as of August 2013:
soda (coke, diet coke, pepsi, diet pepsi, mt. dew & sprite) 12 pack, 12 oz cans are $4.99 each.
water: Nestle, 1/2 liter bottles, 32 bottles (case) $7.99 or 6 pack $2.49 or Crystal Geyser, 1/2 litter bottles 24 bottles (case) $6.99 or 6 pk $2.19.
Online orders from Staples/Amazon/Walmart- I think these are delivered to the convention center and therefore subject to weight-based fee and must be picked up.
Hi Teena - I'll be checking into the YC on Saturday. Do you know what your schedule is like for the following week?!
(Amusingly, one of my high school best friends - and, to be fair, I had a different one nearly every year! - now works at the MK, so I think I'll get to see her briefly, too. I haven't seen HER since sometime during our years at UMass.)
I AM SO EXCITED I JUST CANNOT.
Disney World means SO much to me. I can't even articulate it, but today I realized it was like a sense of going home. So, maybe when we pay off the mortgage, I might need to convince my husband to invest in the DVC? Haha.
