2013 Rack Rates? When will they announce?

When does Disney usually announce the next years room rates? I'm waiting for the 2013 information to come out for February 2013.

I am waiting for these as well. I don't know why, but I am thinking they announce them in August? Someone on here will know the correct answer.

2009 Walt Disney World resort room rates were released August 3, 2008.

2010 Walt Disney World resort room rates were released August 2, 2009.

2011 Walt Disney World resort room rates were released July 18, 2010 (phone bookings only - online bookings started August 8, 2010).

2012 Walt Disney World resort room rates were released June 10, 2011 (phone bookings only - online bookings started June 12, 2011).

You can call and book 2013 right now. It is a room only reservation at this point. They will promise you that rate. If it goes lower you can call and get the difference back. I boooked already for 2013. Can't hurt.

just remember if you want pkg then wait till release. cant change room only to pkg. different res system and they wont credit the deposit towards your new res. it will be credited back to your card at some point. usually takes couple weeks or so for it to show up on your card statement....

I was wondering as well. I want to run the Princess 1/2 and wanted to know how much rooms would be. I guess I'll have to wait a little bit. Hopefully it's not too much.

Ticket prices are going up on Sunday, I am hoping that this means rack rates will be released soon!

I'm also waiting for July 2013...finally gonna book a family trip for 6...Woo-Hoo!!!...I want to make sure I get two adjoinging, connecting rooms at Pop Century...this way we are together and have the extra space...and BATHROOM!!! I hope they announce soon so I can start paying on it...!!!

I just got off the phone and my luck wasn't so good. After being on hold while talking to her supervisor, the CM told me that rack rates for 2013 had been 'pushed back' until August.

I know you can get conflicting info depending on when you call, and who you talk to, so I just took it for what it's worth. We do have a room-only reservation for BC in Jan, so I feel good about at least having the reservation in since Feb.

THIS!! I totally agree with you...plus we schedule a lot of our dining AROUND where we stay-- if you stay at Poly you might do the Stitch breakfast v. if you stay at Beach club you'd do the Cape May Cafe..

I hope they hurry up!

Me too me too me too. I want to book April 2013 NOW, mostly because I did the Premier Disney Visa card and have an extra bonus for three months -- was hoping to pay for the majority of the trip now just to get the extra Disney Rewards for spending money and such...

I spoke with a CM on my way home from work this evening. I asked if he would be able to give me a 2013 room only rate quote and he said that he could and had just given someone else a quote. After he took all of my information and put in the dates, he said that his computer said that the booking system was down. I asked when he thought that the 2013 rates would be published and he said that he hoped that it would be by the end of the month since so many people had already called wanting to book.

I'd also like to get a move on for our 2013 trip! We want to go in the end of February since we have AP's.

Not sure if we will stay onsite for that one, might be Bonnet Creek instead, but it would be nice to play around on the site and see the actual prices.

Heck, I'd still like some AP rates for this trip I have coming in 77 days! If they are good enough I may change our reservations for the 453rd time.
